This is the last interruption,
I've bought LP's Rolling Stones from the data's they came out.
NR 1 & 2 only in mono, the rest till Let it Bleed , both mono & stereo.
NR 1, 18 different issues, only 3 with short "Tell Me".
All still in my collection.
Greets,
.
Nobody doubts that.

I've never bothered much with Got Live; I always thought it was recorded down a wind tunnel.....
Well they were livin' in a crossfire hurricane around that time ....

"Got Live" LP in mono are the way to go, btw.
100% better than the horrendous stereo version (or the remix).
Only "Have You Seen..." exists in mono, I believe..

Serious question, what is so special about the mono editions, besides being collectors item?

Nope. There is a dedicated US mono version. I own a version.

Little Queenie/Love In Vain from Ya-Yas was released in some territories.
There was a UK pressing that was exported to Scandinavia and, judging by the XDR matrix number, it was mono.

I don't have it but purely judging by the XDR matrix number I would say that it is probably mono. Stereo would have been ZXDR.
"Memo From Turner" was also released in mono.
To the best of my knowledge, the first UK Decca single to be released in stereo (by any artist) was the "Street Fighting Man" maxi-single issued in 1971: [www.45cat.com]
