Not sure if it is a magnet or metal plate though. Because there is another one on the inner side of the box about 5 mm in diameter (you will not see it from outside). Anyway, that is a pair for magnetic lock - metal plate + magnet.
That's ridiculous for the CD Box...I got mine from amazon.co.uk for 81 GBP delivered.
As long as the sound is the same, I would almost like to buy this as my 'play copy'...and keep the real one sealed. Too bad I've already opened my real copy!
LP box was once on flash sale @ 170 Euros but generally it is in 270-300 Euros range.
I bought two copies of the Vinyl, the first one at approx 280 euros, the second closer to 210 euro's. The 170 'value deal' eluded me completely!
Having said that, it's probably close to the 210 I paid, once you factor in shipping.

I think it's worth noting that when you buy a hi-res download on Qobuz, you have then the choice of format (FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF...) and the choice of quality: 24-bit 192kHz, 24-bit 96kHz, 16-bit 44.1kHz, or even MP3...
16-bit 44.1kHz and MP3 are no hi-res...
I think he means that you have the option to convert. If you purchase, say, the DSD 2.8MHz/1bit (which can't be played on all types of players), you can convert as well – to burn them on to a dvd or play it on regular players with slightly inferior sound formats.
I have the DSD (thanks, you know who you are!), and use the JRivers-player. Sounds beyond excellent

I want to sell my box "SEALED"
But it seems to me that's a problem.

My box has a weight between 900 gram and 1 kg. (whithout the sg)
If I understand you the weight is a point for originality?
EU box has mass ~960 gr + something if you will weight it with shrink (I torn and dispose it, it would add 5-10 gr extra). My parcel from amazon has a sticker with statement 1.06 kgs.
The other way is to check images on discogs. The EU version presented there is correct one.

You see, this box is relatively new and is not that popular as The Beatles Mono box. But those guys face the situation with Chinese fakes years ago. And they realize quite quickly that the fake has different mass. Here the situation is very similar. Chinese version does not have magnet in the box flip cover, it comes w/o inner and outer plastic sleeves. I.e. it should weight 100gr (at best) less.

So, you know...

I have heard of someone trying to "assemble" the 9 7" set by getting each of them from the country where it was actually available individually, though I have not heard of anyone ultimately doing this to completion. Any stories?

I know this topic has been discussed. But has anyone a clue where the digital downlaod card is in the box? I have looked and cannot find. I contacted Amazon and they said there is no digital download, but know that is incorrect. Folks, any clues?
