it's boiling hot in Marseille on le "Vieux-Port" between english and russian fans.
many wounded people, chairs on the streets, broken bottles
a journalist has just interviewed an english drunk fan saying that they were here to fight !
Tonight should a shameful show of drunk pigs on the streets of Marseille.
let's hope the show will be pleasant in the stadium !
the disastrous thing is that lots of english fans (or hooligans ?) are forbidden of stadiums in england but they can easily go abroad and create troubles.Quote

I hear about those English hooligans again. What is it about English people? Why can't they behave abroad?

What I just saw on BFM TV is really scary, officials claim that the fan zone and the stadium are safe though.

You're right, Hansie. I'll rephrase it then: Why do English football fans always carry a tail of hooligans and criminals?

A great header by Russian Vasilij Berezutskij in the last minute seals the result, 1-1, between Russia and England. The first draw in the championship.

I would not get on the fans of England for instigating violence; but who knows? But it really doesn't sound like it. It does sound like a few have acted like bad mannered tourists, yelling obnoxious things and the like.
I'm afraid you don't understand at all what the "French bashing" is all about.Quote

These are football hooligans. Nothing wrong with English people. Please.

Troubles in Lille with German fans (they almost killed a French gendarm).

there is something wrong with English people !
just have a look at the previous Euros :
- 2012 : in Poland/Ukraine
- 2008 : in Austria/Switzerland
- 2004 : in Portugal
- 2000 : in Belgium/Netherlands
No problem with English fans during these tournaments.
1998 : world cup in France. Incidents in Marseille because of English fans. Troubles in Lille with German fans (they almost killed a French gendarm).
Euro 2016 : incidents with English fans in France.
maybe you don't want to see the reality but facts are facts.
why do english fans behave like wild animals when they come to France ?
