It is already just the Tongue - it's a PNG-Picture with an Alpha-Channel (w/o background). Just place the Tongue over your desired background.

Try a different Graphics-Software than MS Paint - e.g. GIMP - [www.gimp.org] - it's powerful and for free.

Irix, is English your second language? Ernie graduated college in 1969.....first assignment....for a upcoming 1970 campaign. His Dolls Alive was 1969.

I did, quite a while ago, an (after all silly) survey on tongues sticking out of mouths and went back as early as 1949, when the famous COBRA movement published a "logo" (Okay, black & white) on an exhibition agenda. Artists off course laugh all the time. Friends? No, they just borrow and borrow and borrow ideas from others before them. The nice thing about artists however is that they often add "something original" to it. And sometimes those additions make them famous.
Long live the artists!

Rolling Stones Meets Traditional Japanese Art In Limited Edition Ukiyo-e Prints



Proved by the truly badass ukiyo-e artworks of legendary rock bands KISS and Iron Maiden, hard rock
and traditional Japanese art go hand in hand like rum and coke. Now it’s the turn of Rolling Stones
fans to raise their glasses, because the iconic “Tongue and Lips” logo has gotten the ukiyo-e
treatment in a series of epic woodblock prints.

Ukiyo-e, which translates to “image(s) of the floating world,” is a genre of Japanese art that thrived
from the 17th to 19th centuries. Artists produced woodblock prints and paintings of everything
from scenes of folk tales to erotica, and though the number of artists specializing in ukiyo-e
has diminished since the genre was at its zenith, efforts are being made
to bring it back into the modern art world.

These limited edition prints are each available for purchase for 86,400 yen (US$776). Those who love the
design but can’t splurge on the artwork can also get t-shirts and tote bags with the Rolling Stones
ukiyo-e design. Check out the online store for more information.

This special project was made possible by Japanese publishing company Unsodo, and the original artwork was
painted by Kyoto-based artist Fuyuki. Two of the Rolling Stones ukiyo-e prints feature the same painting in
different colors. At center stage is Mick Jagger’s mouth, as waves crash down from it onto Mt. Fuji. The
painting is reminiscent of Hokusai’s famous ukiyo-e “Great Wave off Kanagawa,” and comes in red and blue
versions.

AMAZING! I use Photoshop but can't wrap my brian around this one. I'll to research the blending mode and transforming tool, etc.. More, more, please!

Here's a challenge for you. Can you make the Stones as super heroes with capes and at least Mick or Keith with a Stones tongue on their shirt and all or most wearing a cape like Marvel super heroes? Ron cold have some flashy clothes. Brian has the look with the pic of him and Jimi Henrdix.
