stats may well be spot on, but it dosent hide from the fact that on a typical stones gig, which usually is 19 songs, 16 or 17 will be the same most evenings. 2 or 3 may be rotated, but of those 2 and 3, some of those will reappear soon after in another gig, how many of those 94 songs were played more than twice during the 2012-2016 period. i doubt very many.

great work but look at this.
84 different songs played over 91 shows and the band is constantly working together
2015 the remaining members of the grateful dead got together to celebrate the bands 50th anniversary. they played just FIVE shows. all sold out to huge crowds
Over the course of the five shows 81 different songs were performed not including "Drums" and "Space" which were each performed every night. Only two songs, "Truckin'" and "Cumberland Blues", were repeated.
so the rolling stones who didn't have a founding member pass away in over 40 years, play together more, played 86 more concerts, etc only managed to play 3 more songs than the dead played in 5 shows

Different bands, different concerts and different fans.

well see the issues is the stones think they know the fanbase and don't think they do.

Great work. A bit of "loaded statistics" in the sense that it gives the impression that the Stones live set is incredibly varied. But a closer look shows 16 warhorses. With their set being roughly 18 songs, and you get the true picture that you spend hundreds of dollars on a show and see potentially 2 songs that are not warhorses (and possibly not even "rare"). Fine for the average fan, but for the die hard who've seen the stones multiple times and are bored by just seeing warhorses over and over again....well the proof is in the pudding....

Great work, 1962
I want every song they played to get an official release, that would make an impressive box-set.

+1, Thanx...It would be interesting also with information about which of the songs from the three groups known as ' rare ' available in any form or by any means to listen or watch ...I guess youtube is to help here...
