ironbellyAnd once again, one should keep in mind that previous Japanese editions (in particular - Marquee 1971) suffer interlacing problems. There was long discussion on old thread here.Quote

If looking for top notch quality the Japan edition will be the one to get.
(three DVD region 2 editions / three Blu-ray editions)
Will go for the edition which includes three Blu-ray discs, featuring full-length live footage from their concerts in Amsterdam, Paris, and London,
a documentary Blu-ray disc, two CD discs, and a T-shirt (large size).
Documentary features recording scenes at Toshiba EMI Studio in Japan and interviews with members.
Japan made releases are always a cut above the rest when it comes to details and presentation.

These days Japanese editions are kind of lottery - you get extremely nice box with extras but on the other side - faulty video is possible.

Just to clarify - any Japan made CD / Mini LP CD / original vinyl releases are mainly always a cut above the rest when it comes to sound quality / details and presentation.
I only have a few Japan made Blu-ray discs and all are fine.
Thanks for pointing out the faulty video possibility on some titles.
Sure. There are tons of reasons to purchase Japanese set: if you are completist, if you are collector of Japanese editions, if you like to have bonus T-shirt, if you like nice packages etc.Quote

Is there any point in buying this set from Japan, when you can get nearly everything (audio-wise) from other retailers? It's only the 3 track bonus disc which you're missing and by the looks of it, you get the same material on the DVDs so a DVD audio ripper would solve that problem.

I'm more curious what happened to the bonus tracks on the Japan issue. Thought the songs Jump On Top Of Me, Still A Fool and Can't Get Next To You were originally planned.

I remember the original Japanese Stripped (1995) had the bonus track "Angie" which was in addition to the "Angie" that was already in the set list

Nope, Angie was added to Bridges To Babylon Japanese cd.
Recorded at one of 1995 Tokyo Dome shows.
If my memory serves me well Black Limousine was an extra track on Japanese Stripped.
