My ringtone is an entire track. I don't often let it play all the way through, but I can when I feel like it.
I find that You Don't Have to Mean It is an excellent reminder when heading into a conversation :E

I've not had songs for ringtones but other sounds and regardless, you can't hear them. I found some app to get a real ringer. If I heard Start Me Up or whatever coming from my phone I'd either not hear it or ignore it.

On my old phone I had the line "There goes the telephone, suddenly you feel at home" from the She Was Hot video (which had an actual old school ringtone in it as well). Now I have Start Me Up from Flashpoint. It's great, but it sucks when I forget to turn off the sound during a conversation. "Yes, so you know that you really have to go the long w..." BOOM DAAA DA DAT!!!!

Sweet! That is indeed a nice one. I actually helped create some of the early ringtones for one of the major phone manufacturers. When I listen back to them now they are a bit lame sounding but the check cleared so it's all good.

I have some subtle and increasing in volume birdsong as my ringtone these days. I once had the intro to CYHMK on there but didn't want to create any negative associations with that great lick since the unexpected phone ringing is sometimes a source of irritation.

My ringtone is Hey Negrita. I think it works fine!

The same happen too me when I had the great intro of What A Shame as a ring tone....at that time I did field support and hang on the phone for more then two hour a day so I got a bit irritating when I heard What A shame.............

I have the beginning of Honky Tonk Woman for my ringtone and the beginning of Rocks Off for my SMS tone. Who would have thought?

I have the 'whoop whoop' chorus from "Sympathy For The Devil" as my skype call inbound ringer.

But I amplified it - so it comes on LOUD.

Not really a heart-attack inducing issue, but a hangover from when I was getting skype calls from my partner while she was away in the UK, and I didn't want to miss them but still wanted to do things around the house.

Sadly my homing pidgeon had most of his tongue torn out by a hawk .....
