I love the Stones version of Like A Rolling Stones - think its awesome and always love when they play it live. Crowd always seems to love it as well. To me a highlight of the show and best part of Stripped along with Little Baby. Unfortunately Woodie's lead on Shine A Light really made me miss Mick Taylor....

Spider & Fly, SF Man,Rollin Stone, Love in Vain, Slippin Away ,Wild Horses, Im Free, & Little Baby are all outstanding.

Others kinda suck.

Ah, yeah, Spider and the Fly. Now that was a nice surprise to hear done.
True: I can listen to Stripped at least once a week, and won't grow tired at all!

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

My favorite alltime version of Wild Horses. I like this whole album.

I think it is great. Companion even more so.

I think they called it Stripped to avoid paying MTV for the Unplugged label.

I think the album is the pinnacle of the late-era Stones:
This was were they sparkled as musicians again and fought and lived up to their title as 'The Greatest Rock 'N Roll Band In The World'. The title began to vanish between their hands after this tour and album. They also had a critically and popular studio record under their belt and they performed the songs from that record quite well.

Does anyone have It's All Over Now, which was a download-only track at the time? I haven't heard that official release of it...

I do have it, I got it officially from itunes way back. I am guessing it's not hard to find, likely a youtube search should turn it up. Was that one omitted from Stripped Companion?

Love the album, love the shows, especially the Paradiso shows. Love Street Fighting Man. As a matter of fact I just played it one hour ago!

Pretty underwhelming stuff, like most of the Post-Wyman output.

You may be right...of course Unplugged was never considered as a title, I believe some of the early ideas were more along the idea of Naked.

They should have called it Led It Bleed; Naked!

Without Country Honk, You Got The Silver, Monkey Man and YCAGWYW? That's half the record missing man! Although I would have liked to hear all acoustic versions of all of those.

I thought it was "okay" at the time. The b-sides from the singles were way better. I liked the little CD-Rom sampler that worked with Windows 95 at the time. Super cheesey these days though, lol!

Not for me ... Sticky Fingers version is by far the best of any other.

The best Stones live album since YaYas (not counting the From The Vaults series).
The only song that's a let down (and a very big let down) is Like A Rolling Stone! Someone should have told them that this is NOT a pop song

I think the vocals are better on Sticky Fingers, but I slightly prefer the guitar parts on Stripped

I feel the same but I have nothing against other good versions, which this one is.
