1 sticky fingers
2 exile on mains street
3 tattoo you
4 goats head soup
5 its only rock and roll

if you include solo

1 crosseyed heart
2 talk is cheap
3 main offender
4 sticky fingers
5 exile on main street

This is because Mick's voice is too much for me sometimes all the way through albums, but the music makes it all the more bearable. His voice used to sound part of the music , like with exile, but since Black and blue he just shouts over the music, I think something happened to Mick's voice after 76 . It changed beyond recognition, maybe the healthy lifestyle ruined it, who knows

They sound slightly dated now for me. The five albums i chose seem to have a timelessness to them. Time Wait's for No One helps IORR just tip let It Bleed to the post. In all honesty Turner picking Keith's albums over the others was a wind up for the benefit of some on here

The 5 Stones-albums I've been listening less to:

1/ Dirty Work
2/ Undercover
3/ Emotional Rescue
4/ Steel Wheels
5/ ABB

2 1 2 0

Hmm indeed Dande lol
Its pure genius, the lyrics are way beyond anything they have done since
Taylor's melodic guitar is beautiful and soulful inho

Yes, star crossed in pleasure the stream flows on by
Yes, as we're sated in leisure, we watch it fly
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
Time can tear down a building or destroy a woman's face
Hours are like diamonds, don't let them waste
Time waits for no one, no favours has he
Time waits for no one, and he won't wait for me
Men, they build towers to their passing yes, to their fame everlasting
Here he comes chopping and reaping, hear him laugh at their cheating
And time waits for no man, and it won't wait for me
Yes, time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
Drink in your summer, gather your corn
The dreams of the night time will vanish by dawn
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
No no no, not for me...

100 years ago and winter should have never been released. definitely as bad as stuff on Dirty Work.

Time waits for no one is slightly better, I can see why it was released, but it's horrible except for MT's guitar work.

Agreed. Horrendous. At least 50% of all school girls have better poetry/lyrics written on the inside of their school books. It wouldn't surprise me if Jagger wrote those words in 10 minutes.

GHS isnt awesome, its almost awful. The entire album is a showcase how bored they became with themselves at that time. Maybe Taylor is to blame, maybe without him it could have been a better album. At least less boring.

Its the meaning behind the lyrics, they mean something to me, i frequently step outside of space time and connect to other dimensions. This reminds me of that.
Its not just the lyric is it, its meshed and coupled with Mick Taylor's melodic Guitar. Can one of you guys show me a better lyric about the ravages and inevitability of time
