Green Lady
I think the 20 red lights are in there too, aren't they? Though I don't know how that bit works.
Well done, BreakingBlues - I was trying to work out what happened on 2nd August 1970 (which I guess was a Sunday?) after trying February 8th (because I'm in England and we do dates differently here...) and that's as far as I got.
Meanwhile, I was still waiting - for that protest on the bus. No idea about that one.

Yeah, that's an American thing, my apologies (but it's fair after Olly's Britishisms). Try googling "Rosa Parks" for a help...
And here's one more hint: I mentioned there's two critical synonyms of nouns. One of them is geographically inaccurate.
And what're you doing up after 4 in the morning, green lady???

A prostitute is taking a stand on a bus on a savanna (which is named after a fragment of a Led Zeppelin album title) while attempting to perform an action in the title of a 1970s Stones song, with two identical organic products mixed with corn, resembles an anthropomorphic version of an object from a Squeeze single released between 1979 and 1983.

Thanks BreakingBlues - what is the subject of the verb "resembles" in that, please?
And is the song a Stones original?
Meanwhile, for anyone else who had never heard of it, here are the lyrics to the Squeeze single: [www.lyricsfreak.com]
Sure are a lot of objects in it ...

2. The 70s Stones song was released in the 70s but recorded in the 60s

You got that right, sssoul. But ironically, the one you need to find isn't even directly mentioned. And it is a material object.

All right, it's got to be:
There's a tramp sitting on my doorstep trying to waste his time
With his mentholated/methylated sandwich, he's a walking clothes line
The tramp sitting, the steppe and wasting time are the bits that got me there,
so BreakingBrains needs to explain the labyrinthine workings of his/her clue in full, please and thank you
