A little update with some Exile blues, while we're waiting for Keef's PR-puppets (or was it "muppets") smiling smiley

We thought this one was swinging from the start. Great song, fun to play. Keep in mind that this is just a situation report, not a finished track. Nothing is mixed, no effects are added.

Musicians on Stop Breakin' Down:

Stoneburst: Slide guitar
Steinschlag: Wurlitzer
Wild Slivovitz: Harp
ErwinH: Drums
Duke Richardson: Bass
DandelionPowderman: Vocals and rhythm guitar

Oh wow - this is great. Now, the logical step forward is to hold a gathering next time the Stones tour. I'd say London as it is the Stones hometown and a fairly central, lively City.

And to get the IORR All Star Jam Band to perform live for us, with perhaps a few unscheduled guest appearances. Maybe makle Bard the band leader and put in charge with a set list.

How about it guys?

If by chance there are any horn players out there, we've got lots of work for you smiling smiley

If anyone who plays an instrument or sings are interested in joining us, we've got a Facebook group where we discuss the progress, post embryonic versions, talk about arranging the songs etc.

Very good, really impressed! What's the Facebook group link?

Since it's Emotional Rescue-week in the ALBUM TALKs, I thought I'd post one of my personal favourites from the IORR sessions so far, Down In The Hole.

This is an extended version. It will get a sorely missed harp from Wild Slivovitz + better vocals perhaps.

Musicians:

ErwinH: Drums
Duke Richardson: Bass
djgab: Acoustic guitar solo
DandelionPowderman: Vocals and guitar

Press «HD» for optimal sound.

I come out of hiding once every few months to play a bit of slide guitar, yes, then disappear again (glad you enjoyed it!)
