Hands down "Happy".

2. Thief in the night

3. The worst

nb - "Connection" is not a Keith song and Jagger singing on "You got the silver" makes me avoid listening to the version on LIB.
No idea why Keith added his vox over Mick's already outstanding ones.

As for solo "Make no mistake" is a masterpiece imo.

Have you ever lent somebody $20 and never seen them again? It was probably worth it.

NB: Connection is indeed a Keith number (as in he wrote it); the Buttons rendition is as tight a duet as the Glimmer Twins ever did.
and Mick's rendition of YGTS is one of the only two Stones tracks i regularly skip -
which means there's balance in the universe after all. :E

meanwhile, i don't do "favourites" and "bests" but: Can't Be Seen seems to me to be Keith's most misunderstood Stones number. listen to what he's doing with that vocal line!

"What do you want - what?!"
- Keith

Whoever wrote what is not the point.
Why not include "Ruby Tuesday" then as Keith wrote that too?

It's what songs you like most that are on Rolling Stones albums whereby he is the lead vocalist - or at least I assume that's the general question.
He is not the lead vocalist on "Connection". Jagger is.
And even if one argued that it's a duet - which it isn't - it still isn't Keith as lead vocal. He's a backup vocalist throughout the song just as he's b'up vocalist in the same manner on the chorus' of "It's all over now" to give an example.

And we seem to disagree on even more - "Can't be seen"?? Yuk!
It's not hard to misunderstand poorly written songs that are wonderfully executed.

As for "Silver". Jagger's vocals are simply outstanding.

Anyways, life would be a snore if we all agreed hey?

:0)

My favourites are

1.Sleep tonight
2.Happy
3.How Can I Stop

But there's a lot of them. Mostly they're all - brilliant!

I'm surprised no one mentioned "Wanna Hold You". I've always been partial to this one. Not a masterpiece, but a cool pop melody in my opinion.
