Bill created a great foundation for the Stones music.
He was no doubt surprised that when he ripped out that foundation it did nothing to the band.
They did some foundation repair with Mr Jones and Suck On The Jugular was born...
Don't be mad Bill.
Bill, why you mad?

Thank you for staying Charlie Watts, you were in a similar position as Wyman and you stayed and I appreaciate you staying very much.

Inferior is laughable
Bill is great and perfect for 60/70s Stones but if you can't tell Darryl is dumbing it down to play the part you haven't been watching...or listening

Read closely towards the end of this wiki article. I would say Charlie "adjusted" Mick's horizontal and vertical controls a bit to put it into 60's TV parlance....

I agree Bill is talking Stones to get some PR for his record. The more Keith and Mick drama, the more widely published it will be.
I do however believe what he says is true from his perspective, Keith Mick and Darryl would all have a slightly different story to tell. Yes of course the Jagger/Richards songwriting partnership was a monopoly, they obviously didn't need much help for many years. The golden years songs were perfect without Bill's writing but as much as I'd like to believe Bill had some good songs for them post 1981, I doubt he actually did.
100% correct..very disappointing that the band I love and have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars seeing the past 40 years, is lead by two (2) very mean spirited, petty, guys.Quote

The treated him the same as Mick Taylor, vengefully and childishly, which is why I am no longer a fan of this band, at least in its current configuration.

The current bassist in the band's name is Darrell Jones. Even if Bill wants to slam him he should still call him by name, certainly he knows it! Proof that Bill is no less a snob than the others. They are all the same.. Jones is a guy making a living, God only knows the pathetic pay he receives, Wyman, millionare, quitter, needn't be so punishing.
There are a good many of the golden years songs Bill isn't even playing on.Quote

All this bullshit about how they would not record Bill's or Mick T's songs. I've heard Wyman's songs, and Taylor's and they are shite. That's why they weren't recorded.

Another excellent point ... I 'like' some of Bill's stuff, but still most of it would be filler on a Stones album. Taylor's stuff is worse - yes he's a great guitar player but come on, the songs he's written are far below average.

I disagree. You may not like them but in my opinion Taylor has written some better songs than the Glimmers in the last 35 years.

by the way, they do have a regular bass player on board, is it that fair to say to him 'you can't play 5 songs'?
