Thanks for the nice comments everyone. The story was simple and crazy. All you had to do was camp out in front of the box office windows at the Forum. I was 21 at the time, just out of college hunting for my first real job, so I had plenty of time. My friends and I had done the sleepover thing in '72 and I snagged 2nd row center for that show. (And yes, I shot one of those shows too!) Back to '75, when we got the word, we grabbed our sleeping bags and ran to the Forum. I think we slept three nights there. I was right in front of one of the ticket windows when they opened. I bought four for one night, my friend bought four for another night and we swapped pairs so we could both go both nights.
When I heard they were going to release a DVD of these shows, I hoped that they would pick one of my shows, but unfortunately, the show they chose was not one of mine. Oh well. But I was right there and it was amazing. Ronnie Wood had just joined.
Here are two more pix from this set. The first one shows Mick playing guitar. I'm pretty sure this was on Fingerprint File. The second one is one of my favorites. It includes Billy Preston and Ollie Brown on You Got To Move...
