OT: Facebook-Account hacked - any ideas?

hi folks

i have a big problem with my facebook account, none of my passwords work anymore, musta been hacked or something.

trying to let them send me a new password also failed!
does anyone have experience with that?

Hi Seb, read this first:

then report to Facebook that your account got legs.
make sure the keyboard language settings on your device/ Pc have not been changed.
take care of UPPER -_ lower case shift.

be persistant with your inquiries to fbook. try again if it didn't work the first time.

it might be of help to you (once your account is restored), but also other Facebook users, to know that turning on what they call login approvals ("two-factor authentication" to technical people) goes a long way toward preventing hacks.

the basic idea is that if someone logs into your Facebook account from a computer for the first time, Facebook texts to you mobile phone a pass code that has to be used to complete the log in.

this means that no one can log into your Facebook account unless 1) they know your user name and password, and 2) they have your cell phone.
