Bobby Keys "other" band, The Suffering Bastards, will give a tribute show on
june 16 in The Mercy Lounge in Nashville.
They feature VERY Special Guests!
The Rolling Stones have a Zipe Code show the next day in Nashville...... ;-)
Wonder if they will show up in Nashville the day before their own gig... ;-)

hhmmmm...this could be/get interesting.....keef ???......the Mercy Lounge is a cool venue,all wood & tall ceilings,saw Ian & the Bump band there back in july 07....if you're in the area i'd recommend checking it out,it's run/owned by Chark(of Suffering Bastard fame)

Stones play in Orlando on Friday. You think they will in Nashville way before the 16th. Lots of stuff in Nashville that week.

Nice catch mrfancyman! Can't be much doubt who the VERY special guests are going to be. Probably half the Stones will show up.

Mick Taylor would be great! If he showed up, perhaps the Stones would invite him for a tune in Nashville. If there is anything more popular in that town than great guitarists I don't know what it is. Taylor would be a special treat for all the pickers.

I saw the suffering bastards in Toronto and bobby took a picture with me and signed my exile CD.

You might be right....in Nashville there are actually a lot of possibilities for VERY special guests. My excitement got away from me there for a minute.

I would find it hard to believe no Stones make it. Especially Keith and Ronnie. The timing leads you to believe they will be.

So they have either timed this to make you think they will be there to sell tickets.

Or it is timed so the Stones can be there.

I say at $5 a ticket. The Stones will be there. If they were trying to make money and use the Stones possibly being there to sell tickets the cost would have been more.
