It could be London, Paris or New York, a small club with fans, it´s possible to arrangesmiling smiley

What about Paradiso Amsterdam, logistically perfectly situated between the New and the Old World?

However, capacity of 1,500 might be too big.

I´m serious about this, those of you that aren´t don´t need to write here. This is one of the problems with a project like this, only serious interest here please.

Ok, you're clearly the front runner here, why don't you check it out with the Stones management.....then others can get a serious idea about whether they can participate or not..........

My thoughts exactly.

2000 of us at $1000 a head and we'd have the (initially) rumored $2 million.
If it was more we could either up the price or the number of attendees.

Or 1000 of us at $2000 a head... could all vote on location (each $1000 gets a vote)

An IORR private event.. how cool would that be??
The greatest rock and roll band in the world with a concert of their greatest fans.

I'm in.

I'm a newcomer to this board - but I'd be in on this.

Maybe we could do an internal poll to work out a preferred 'hardcore' setlist........

I would give $2000 at the Paradiso. I'd want a decent setlist though, half should be rarities. This could work. Wonder if The Stones would be interested in doing this. I mean we would all be big fans and they might not like pushing themselves to satisfy us. I think this would be the biggest reason for them not to.

Is this for the Stones? $2 million might get you the Bernard Fowler band, not the Stones. More than that was left as tips last night.

Jokes aside, I'd go for 5 large for an IORR theater show with setlist input from the board (this is for a pair, right?), and it's a great thread, but I fear it's a fantasy.

Mama mia, do you live in a world where "real" stones fans have pockets full of bank notes?

I could review and negotiate the contracts with the band, the venue and the escrow Agent. That's probably $20,000 in free legal work.

We would never agree the set list ....

Re: private concert

We could tell them we don't need horns of the backing vocalists. In fact, if they want to just bring acoustics and play for 90 minutes, that would be acceptable. Find a good charity to represent, hire a decent PR firm to sell 1/4 of the seats to wealthy contributors, and we actually might be able to get a few million together. We would, however need a venue more along the lines of the theater than a club.

We would need tight security on the door of course.......wouldn't want anyone sneaking in to our private gig who hasn't paidwinking smiley

Just do a poll, the 15 - 20 songs with the highest number of votes gets it.......(all 'you'd' need then is M&K to agree it.......

They would decide the setlist, but we could probably vote it together from 30-50 songs.

This will never happen, but it would be cool since one of those imaginary setlists we see on this board would finally come true.

Maybe we could get them to play the whole TSMR.

everyone who contributes votes for one song... and the top 20 become the set list.

it'd be interesting to see if people would get conservative out of fear their song/vote w/b wasted.

Depends if you live next to a billionaire. He can also say it will absolutely happen and be serious. Don't really get what JumpinJeppeFlash is after.
