Just some info because I know a creepy amount of information about Mick (as, I'm sure, do a lot of people on here)

1) Mick was born in '43 so he was actually 19 in '62 and 21 in '64
2) Pic of Mick with lady at table is not his mom but actually a magazine editor
3) Pic of Mick and Chris with man is not father Basil but family friend
4) Christmas pic is not Mick and his brother and is probably actually from the 70s

I could probably date most of these photos just based on his appearance... am now thinking long and hard about how creepy I am lol

1) I should've double checked the birthdate for Mick. I'll go back & re-edit some of that. That was a stupid mistake I shouldn't have made.
2) Re. the lady at the table-when I first found that pic on the internet somewhere, maybe Pinterest or Photobucket it said it was his mom but that just goes to show you how hard it is to know if what you're reading is true without real references. etc. I've never seen any other pic claiming to be his mother-I'll look specifically for one when I can. Thanks for pointing this out.
3) Re. the man in the photo-I kinda wondered about that because I had seen another pic that said it was his father & he had a skinnier look & ears that stuck out out quite a bit!
4) Re. the Christmas pic, you say it is not Mick. Oh gosh I can't recall where I got that. Who are they?

I believe this was from 1965 in Clearwater, FL at a motel during which time Mick & Keith wrote "Satisfaction" which really brought on international attention from that point on. Again, this is just what I've read when I first found the pic--if anyone knows differently please let me know.

Mick is squinting into the bright sun...somebody get this young man his favorite sunglasses 'cos his future is about to get so bright he's gonna need to wear them even at night! (Yes I'm paraphrasing/stole that line from some '80's song by somebody).

Well, I assume this is a young Mick Jagger, I guess that's what it said at wherever i got this pic from...but I'm making no real assumptions at this point.

If it is Mick Jagger it is a good example to kids about how no matter if you go through a slightly gawky stage, you just might turn out to become one of the world's jet-setting sex symbols.

Well, in the top photo of Mick with the cigarette it looks like 1964 or '65 hair/clothing to me but I don't really know.

The bottom 2 pics look like they're from a later date???

I wish I could remember where I read it or heard it but I heard/read that Mick stopped smoking cigarettes & became "hooked" on candy cigarettes. Geez...did I really hear/read that or did I just dream that??????..I might be going batty.

Youngish Mick & Chrissie Shrimpton. Year/source/location ???

I like the quaint way these old photos show of Mick always using a straw when drinking soda pop from a bottle.

I'm including this photo because it is so ridiculous!
Obviously this is a very "airbrushed" photo, the kind those old pre-teen, bubblegum fan magazines used to use all the time. It makes Mick look like he is not a second over age 12 or 13 when he was most likely age 20-21, or even a bit older than that.

Do they still have those type of mags...it was called "Tiger Beat" when I was that certain age, like 10 or 11 in the early 1970's.(It as all David Cassidy, Donny Osmond & The Jackson Five in like 1972.)

I would love info on what bubblegum/pre- teen fan mags from the 1960's there were that featured The Rolling Stones. From what I've seen on the internet I gather that The Stones actually had their own monthly bubblegum-like mag for while. i would love to be able to see/get some of those...I think I seen them on ebay...

Of course no collection of young Stones photos would be complete without "The Houndstooth Jackets" photo. I guess they really hated these jackets & ditched them as soon as possible.

So this photo goes back far enough to see The Stones being allowed to smile versus later on when their publicity machine wanted them to present the sullen, bad boy image.

alieb told me a couple hours ago that the pic on the left is not Mick & Chris's father, but rather a friend of the family. (Mick's father is skinny with ears that really stand out.)

parents emigrated to Canada when I was under a year old and became a citizen thereafter. no issues!

Thanks! I believe it was from rehearsal in Montreux, Switzerland. I have seen them wearing these same outfits in the DVD bonus feature of the 1972 US tour "Ladies & Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones". And it said it was from rehearsal in Montreux which I believe was right after the 1972 US Tour. So ya, I think it's probably 1973.

The Montreux rehearsals (which is indeed where that fine shot was taken) were in May 1972.
They were rehearsing for the tour, so they did it before the tour, not after it. Funny guys, those Stones :E

Was/is Hit parader a regular magazine or just a supplement to a newspaper? (No, I guess I'm thinking of Parade magazine, the Sunday newspaper supplement).

Ya I agree latebloomer, both of them so attractive I bet they could have worked as models if they weren't already rock stars.
