MisterDDDD thanks for sharing that site/info. That mobile studio is so full of Rock and Roll History.

A friend of mine lives in Toronto and heard this on a radio chat show last week, on Metro morning Radio. They called it 'Mobey'. never heard this before but maybe someone may have heard that.

That's pretty darned awesome to see the Mobile ended up in good hands. I didn't even know it still existed.

How come Some Girls and Emotional Rescue were recorded partly with the mobile? What's the story behind that? I thought the Stones had long stopped utilizing it by that time.

Thanks Cristiano! Ironic the mobile studio was studio was built to provide the ability to record anywhere but now (presumably) one has to travel to Calgary to use it.

Lots of juju indeed, I love that it is being painstakingly restored and people will get the chance to continue recording with it.

I suggest the Stones use it for their new analog record which only will be released as an LP

Well, it has finally found a home. I read all of the material on it, very interesting. Good old Bill Wyman doing something good with it and giving it a new paint job and a new purpose. It's piece of rock history and it will not be mobile any more, but it will be recording!

The Stones Mobile has a great Music history and great to see it's being conserved and used again. The Rolling Stones performed in Calgary in 2005.

There was a great article about it in Stones People Europe.
