Hopefully, who ever said only about 10% of the tickets go on sale today is correct.

Well, what a mess that was. We ended up with seats in FZ110 for $175 after a few throwbacks and this was using the 'Best Available' option on Tickets.com.
Should have checked their approved scalper site (https://www.superstartickets.com/The-Rolling-Stones-2527211) as I watched floor tickets in A1,2,7 & 8 going for not much more to start. Currently showing Field A8, Row 6 for $359. Also, there is no service charge and a 5% discount (use code SUPERCLOSER). Lesson learned for the future.
Still waiting for some type of response from the Padres (no charge to credit card yet) on the order we placed last week for the 'Start Me Up' Experience tickets. Come on Padres, don't let us down!
As posted earlier, if Padres come through as promised I will sell the 2 tickets above for face value on this site. Ok, have to get back to work.
Yeah, hopefully, but why would they limit sales?..Maybe legal obligation to put some tix on sale for the general public???....Presale was suppose to last 4 days.Quote

Only a small allotment goes on sale on the presale. The purpose is to sell out (the presale allotment) quickly and generate buzz for the general sale. A presale lasting 4 days wouldn't do that. A quick presale sellout does. Relax.Quote

Whew - what a morning. Struggled with tickets.com for over an hour, threw back tickets in A10 and A11, numerous "unable to process . . ." and then P1 level tickets were no longer an option.
Took a look at Sapphire VIP packages - after a few attempts pulled up A6 row 20 - exactly where I wanted to be. Swallowed hard a few times and pulled the trigger.
A lot of money, but exactly the seats I wanted, printed out, and now I can stop stressing about it.
You didn't sound hysterical you just asked a few questions which i answered. Specifically, you asked why would they limit sales and I told you why. They want the presales to sell out right away. I know you didn't make up the 4 day limit, but that is not real, it is set up to sell out fast. I just meant relax (people who got shut out today, not necessarily you), there will be plenty of tickets on the general sale, I didn't mean that you sounded panicked or anything . Relax.Quote
