Ticket prices for the shows announced on Ticketmaster with TM fees range from a low of $77.50 which I assume are the nosebleeds to $424.00 for what I assume are the primo front field seats.

So if you want to just get in there are affordable seats available.

Compared to Europe 2014, cheaper nose bleeds but much more expensive good tix...probably not a good thing for the "big" fans who want/need to be as close as possible.

$50.00 even for nosebleeds is cheap if you don't mind sitting up in the clouds.

Pretty smart pricing IMHO and bet those tickets sell fast

Trust me I don't claim the seats are good only cheap.

For the ABB tour local companies were papered with lots of upper deck tickets to fill the stadium. I had field seat next to the small stage but I went upstairs to see what the free seats were like during the warm-up bands and the sound was terrible. But I suppose this depends on the stadium. <shrugs>

From Glimmer Girl on Shidoobee -she usually has good info. FYI, don't quote this whole thing when responding here, it will screw up the readability:

"A Birdie visited and there appears to be four tiers of pricing for most of the shows. There are a couple of exceptions, Columbus might have five price ranges and Milwaukee only three.

All prices could be off by approximately $10-20 and do not include fees.

San Diego P1: $395 P2: $175 P3: $95 P4: $62

Columbus P1: $395 P2: $240 P3: $150 P4: $65 P5: $39

Minneapolis: P1: $390 P2: $210 P3: $150 P4: $65

Dallas: P1: $395 P2: $210 P3: $150 P4: $65

Atlanta: P1: $395 P2: $150 P3: $95 P4: $65

Orlando: P1: $392 P2: $185 P3: $95 P4: $67

Nashville: P1: $365 P2: $185 P3: $95 P4: $65

Pittsburgh: P1: $367 P2: $185 P3: $125 P4: $62

Milwaukee: P1: $395 P2: $270 P3: $94

Kansas City: P1: $346 P2: $270 P3: $150 P4: $65

Raleigh: P1: $350 P2: $270 P3: $150 P4: $69

Indianapolis: P1: $995(?) P2: $302 P3: $119 P4: $77

Detroit: P1: $360 P2: $180 P3: $94 P4: $65

Buffalo: P1: $403 P2: $150 P3: $94 P4: $77

Quebec: No idea.

I have no idea about the Lucky Dips pricing - but suspect it to be around $200 for a pair. Lucky Dip pricing was not listed on the presale and general sale pages for the US and Europe sales in '13 and '14. The Lucky Dip sales had their own sales page.

I do not know where the tiers are located in the stadiums. But here's my guess:

Baseball: P1 is on the field, P2 might be back of the field and most of the lower deck, P3 is upper deck with P4 up really high and far back.

Football: P1 is the field and lower deck sides to at least the 50 yd. line, P2 maybe the back of the field and the rest of the lower deck, P3 most of the upper deck with P4 straight back and high up. Columbus's P5 might be the parking lot.

Marcus Amphitheater - my guess is P1 is at least 1/2 to 3/4 of the amphitheater, P2 is the back of the amphitheater and P3 is the lawn. Indianapolis may have five tiers with an additional tier priced at $400ish.

If you're buying P2 or P3 for a concert with P1's that are less than $390, in most cities, you're subsidizing the elite sitting in the expensive seats. They're getting a $30 or $40 break while the P2 and P3's are picking up the difference. Your friends buying the $350ish's owe you a beer or two for helping them out.

You're not getting in the door for less than $100 (unless you're really lucky at pulling up those 12 rows of $60/70 tickets at the back of the stadium, way up high) and if you want to actually see a stage - not an ant farm, it's at least $350.

I do think there will be flex pricing (fire sales). Whether we'll see sections being repriced twenty minutes into the general sale or it will be two weeks before show time - we'll need a crystal ball.

Good luck in the sales!"

If you are right that the P1 are the field and lower deck to the 50 yard line I would be amazed. I really thought like only the first 20 rows or so would be the high dollar seats. If you are correct in your pricing. Then it will be a slow sale for the expensive seats after the inital rush and will make it easier for the real fans to get good seats. Like the $600 in arenas was no rush to get excellent seats. I even traded up after I got mine thru ticketmaster for no charge.

So to me this is bad news / good news and more than likey ticket prices will drop. And hopefully this will scare off some of the scalpers who dont have deep pockets.

I have seen the Stones over 50 times...(I know there are people out there who are in the hundred plus)...The first time I saw the Stones was 75' Chicago, cost me $15.00. I caught 6 of the Fifty & Counting, got lucky and got 2/$85's for Oakland, San Jose. Vegas and 3 Chicago's...I manuever and get very close to any show I go to. Caught the Double Door in Chicago 97' paid $0.00...I find it completely absurd to pay any more than $100.00 to see anybody...It blows my mind that people are getting sucked into the hype of them touring behind an album that is 44 years old. Plus they do most of these songs anyway...Yes I will hit 3 to 4 shows this time around but yes you guessed it .....On the Cheap !!! Rolling with the Big Hype Machine !!!

I cannot imagine that there will not be loads of tickets available for way under face in the parking lots of all of these stadiums.

Re: Does Anybody Really Pay Max $$$ for Tickets ???

Well I must sheepishly admit, I will pay big bucks for excellent seats, especially at the last minute when no other options are apparent. I learned a long time ago that, for me, the real show is in the first 20 rows and I have no desire to watch a band play on a big screen. If I can't see what the guitar player is playing it just doesn't seem worth the effort.

People watching and getting into the vibe of the show aside, I have never understood the appeal of stadium seating for a concert. This photo from the Buffalo thread says it all...you're going to pay money for this view?

peace

I'll pay the least amount of $ for the best seat I can get. same as it ever was. I'll wait till the day of the show, the hour before the show if need be. If they are sold out tight, guess I'll pay more. If they aren't sold out I'll get good tickets cheap.

Just stating the obvious but.....

People who can get 4-$425 dollar up front seats with fast computers and good luck and timing and presumably sell them for $4500 each, I imagine there will be plenty of people in the fray just trying to get a 10X profit with a few keystrokes. $16,000 dollars is a amazing motivator and rather bad news for true Stones fans on a budget....

I based my guess on pricing locations from Bang and the tour for the past two years that keeps changing names. AEG has reduced the stadium prices - they're lower than '05. But it doesn't sound like the Stones have reduced their fee. I see AEG trying to sell as many rows at $350 and above that it can.
