That's bunk.

Mick Taylor left.

He quit The Rolling Stones.

Plenty to read wherever. Look at the 1969 press conference: he looks like he's in high skool.

Dragged along, did whatever - it doesn't matter what the Stones could've been if he'd stayed. He wanted out and he got out.

Nobody suffered. Oh except for playing acoustic guitar for Satisfaction during FIFTY.

A shame. And a sham.

As far as I know, Mick does not play on "Mississippi Queen"

Then the YouTube link gives false info.I must have misjudged my first guitar hero. Although the CB riff sounds very much like Taylor's playing on highway 69 with Bob Dylan in Wembley 1984.

I liked the San Diego show, it's just flabbergasting that Mick T has been doing these shows for so long. IMHO he should've been a big star even after leaving the lads. I am so grateful and happy he mellowed and embraced us fans during the last 25 years. He just grows and grows in my book, A Stone's Throw is one of my favourite records of all time
