Thanks, people! I hope you like your drinks... This is my post number ten thousand one, and I guess there will be some more if moderator is merciful - so it is in the end BV one needs to 'blame'... seriously, all kudos to him for his great work in maintaining this site, and keeping it perfect for discussing the Stones

angee, it was in 1981 when a twelve-years old Doxa saw the video of "Start Me Up" on telly. Both musically and visually it was so fascinating. Just so cool. Never heard or seen anything like that, and totally different what was the contemporary music back then. Of course, I knew their name and some songs prior that ('that other band from the 60's'), but I wasn't impressed or interested. Then I gave an order to Santa Claus to bring me TATTOO YOU. Which he did. It was very odd album for young, fresh ears, but it made me hooked.
The Stones many ways explode my musical world. Not that their music was exciting, it was also kind of introduction into great music and genres as well; through them I get to know blues and stuff like that.
Treacle... what I do when not writing? Busy serving at the bar! Let's keep the saloon open! Cheers!
