Charlie probably looks so grumpy because he had to wait for hours in line at immigration.

Actually, its because its just dawned on Charlie that he's signed a 10 year 5 album contract with Universal.

Well, Charlie is a verry quiet person, sitting 6 hours next to a woodpacker,
is not amusing for him. ( look at woody's face, still picking on him )

So were they coming into NYC or leaving? I only saw this story reported in that Daily rag, nothing else out there, as far as I could tell.

Apparently, they were leaving NYC for London, latebloomer.

I'm pretty sure I've read the Stones have semi-annual band/business meetings. Presumably said meetings would alternate in location between London (near Ron and Charlie) and NYC (near Mick and Keith). Neither Stone looks like they were packed for much more than an over night so it's a safe guess a quick meet-up was all this was. By the same token they could be talking new show dates instead of where to invest the filthy lucre that band already has.

thats it,they arent recording anything.they're setting things up for the shows this summer. signing the contracts, going over the itinerary etc.it doesnt take alot of speculation actually, its pretty obvious.

Has to be something important for Ronnie and especially Charlie to fly across the Atlantic?

A comment in that article "Uh....they arrived in NYC on 29 January and DEPARTED NYC on 1 February." would tend to indicate there was no recording (of substance at least) done however."

Ronnie was in the Bahamas a few days prior to that JFK photo. There's Instagram clips of him jamming with some locals.

Doubtless the inspiration for the sketch in his most recent tweet.
