According to Studio Brussels, Belgian most prestigious radiostation the Rolling Stones will release their new album in 2006. First they gave the same info as you can find anywhere else (august 2005) but they changed this information last week. Let's hope they made a mistake. About the new album...

Is it just gonna be a cd or perhaps also a dvd? Think about the latest U2 release... Any thoughts?

I think it will include a DVD.
That will become standard anyway, most new major releases come with a DVD already.
It's a try from the music industry to add value to the product, an incentive to buy it instead of downloading it...

And what will be on it? Some "making of" video's, interviews and perhaps a the video for the new single? Sounds promising, doesn't it?

If you look on hmv.co.jp - it says there is a limited edition with DVD out on the 17th and a normal CD out on the 10th. Maxi single out on the 10th too...
