In the pro audio industry we have a saying for Bose, "No High's and No Low's...must be Bose". Although their little wave radio gadget wasn't bad for that market. peace

To tell you truth I did stock most of my records in the basement except my treasures Stones Beatles Bowie Roxy Music and some others.

But in the past I did played them on my:
Thorens 165 from '73 with Ortofone element
Pioneer amp same year
And very old Philips speakers from late fifties or early sixties. (Pity I get ride of this speakers)

Sony PSV 715 Turntable
Rotel RA 611 amplifier (circa 1975)
Dynalab SDA 2.8 Speakers (twin 8" cones plus tweeter)

The Rotel sounds amazing, whether I plug in the turntable, TV analogue outputs, a Samsung tablet or a laptop. I played a FLAC of Beggars Banquet recently and it was like hearing the album for the first time!

I did connect this to another amplifier so I have sound from 4 speakers (and lots of options to change the sound smiling smiley) Also I do have a reel-to-reel, but this one not working right (cant record :/)
