She must have been some handful for anyone and everyone who was ever involved with her. Have to wonder about all of these "Manson-type butcherous stalkers." Male or female? Real or imagined? Maybe it's just not possible to be that talented without being a little crazy .... or maybe a lot crazy.

Joni is so bold that I doubt she'd have kept THAT a secret IF she was a lesbian...it would be no biggie for her. I feel sad for her; she is my favorite all-time female artist. Brilliant, under-rated a lot of the time..her lyrics are beyond amazing. Read the lyrics to " River", and " A Case of You". Lots of stars have stage fright...like Carly Simon.
Thanks for posting the article. I read it yesterday on Facebook. It's very interesting but how can you not feel sorry for her?

Delusional parasitosis. Without high-dose stimulants, I would consider that to be crazy. Otherwise, not crazy, just a drug reaction. Funny how crazy people are blind to their delusion but otherwise seemingly intelligent.

I believe Graham Nash wrote this one about her.

I feel blessed to have seen her in one of her last appearances, as the middle act of a Dylan/Mitchell/Van Morrison concert in Los Angeles on the UCLA campus in 1998. I still have the poster, and fantastic memories. She is a fantastic artist, well respected by her peers.

Through reading about her, I learned about Morgellon's and it made my very hair stand on end. How can it becalled an imaginary illness when it causes coloured fibres to appear growing out of the skin?

How would you like to be tortured by a disease that medicine has yet to understand? Beside the Rockin' Pneumonia, and the Boogie Woogie Flu?

A lot of that album is influenced by Joni. It's an outstanding album. I think the King Graham refers to his is himself as King Midas, who was knocked off his throne by Joni.
