Can anyone tell me if the head coach is the only one who can call a timeout from the sidelines?

According to the head dude of reviews for the NFL the head coach is the only one who can call a timeout from the sideline.

Then again they let whatisface go out of bounds to make a TD for Seattle and didn't call it back so... it makes sense.

thats what i thought. the jets got hosed. the game should have been tied with less then 5 minutes left. on top of it all now they are saying the ref didn't see anyone signal timeout, defensive player sheldon richardson admitted he told one of the officials a timeout was being signaled from the sidelines.

Can't believe my Bears beat San Fran in their debut in Levis Stadium! Thought for sure they would be starting the season 0-2!

No excuses for Seahawks. They got outplayed. Some very puzzling coaching decisions for sure. 6 carries for the Beast? The logic on that one is eluding me. Hope this loss cures any thoughts we had about being invincible. Bring on the Broncos!

NFL= Not For Long Chicago on the road victory at SF? Love it!

Love San Francisco's new stadium. Candlestick was always a dark dangerous alley for the Bears.

Getting super excited for the Hawks/Broncos showdown. It is shaping up to be a very good day. Supposed to be 80, got brunch reservations for a really good restaurant (Metropolitan Grill if you are ever in Seattle). Am looking forward to it hugely!hot smiley

Here we go, week 3! Tonight should be an interesting game & good warm up for the weekend. One would think that Tampa has to win sometime but Atlanta has shown some signs of life. I have to go with Atlanta at home tonight. I'm being influenced...smoking smiley

Do you know if the stadium was made in China just like their jeans?

I can't stand them. In fact, the Sunday night games are difficult too. The best time is the 3 o'clock games (Central). Noon games are just a bit too early.

Tampa Bay should just lose every game to be number 1 in next year's draft...get a big time quarterback.

I don't mind the Thursday night games as long as they're not exclusively on NFL channel. Weirdly, the games will only be available there the 2nd half of the season. My cable provider makes you buy a big package of channels for considerable $ to get the NFL channel. I refuse. I don't have any other options because of where I live. The satellite services don't work. Grrrr!

Satellite sucks.

Did you know that over 50% of your cable bill goes to Disney? Because that's the kind of money ESPN demands.

There is no competition on cable systems in Seattle. The city poobah's awarded Comcast a monopoly. Not a consumer friendly scenario. Disney is evil.

It's finally here! The Denver Donkeys (Max's name for them, where are you?) visit Seattle for a gelding. Weather is looking superb today, high of 83 & sunny. My prediction is Seattle 30, Denver 24. Picking up my friend @ 9 & heading downtown. Could be a few mimosas going down to put a nice, rosy glow on the day. The 12th men (& women) are going to be in full battle mode today. Been looking forward to this for a long time. GO HAWKS, WOO HOO!hot smiley
