Harry Styles, the new Mick Jagger?

Absolutely not.
He usually wears a bandanna a la keef

Likewise, he is not even close to being on the same level as Keith.

Who the fu** is Harry Styles??

Exactly. Case dismissed.

He seems to be a buddy with Sir Michael though. Maybe he gave Sir Michael some financial tips. Styles' band is virtually bathing in money.

Don´t think "Sir Michael" needs any financial advice......

That's because it's not a band. It's a perfectly crafted money making machine, existing solely to exploit the pockets of 14 year old girls.

Sure Bastion, that's true. But you could also say that The Rolling Stones are exploiting the pockets of 50 year old men...

True, but that wasn't the intention from the beginning. The Stones are a band that play songs that they wrote. I'm gonna cut this off here actually, I don't think I need to explain to you how One Direction are not even close to being on the same level as the Stones. smoking smiley

You don't have to, Bastion! I was just stretching the argument a bit...

The set list! Can you believe it? So lame! What drives these people?

Playing a set list that only twenty thousand people in all of Europe would want to hear wouldn't exactly justify being on the road to begin with, does it?--especially when you need to get at least twenty thousand people into each venue to make it worthwhile.

Stones yield per concert is way higher than One Direction's. They have another income stream from books, dolls and all that crap but a big percentage will be going to Simon Cowell. Not to say that they are not rich, especially considering their level of talent.

Hilarious! Cant wait to see a youtube clip of that moment (nothing up right now - just checked)

Here it is:

Thanks so much Christiano for posting this beautiful version of YSTS (w/ the funny Keith quote moment starting @ 2:54). Thanks also for your countless contributions of photos, videos & info that make following these live threads so much fun smiling smiley thumbs up

...I didn't know setlists were made public before a concert and/or before tickets go on sale...?!
Although they become quite public due to the repetitive nature - I'll grant you thàt. smoking smiley

Some great pictures here! Thanks for posting everyone. Thommie - nice to see them looking so happy.

Regarding One Direction. I think it's great that regardless of their own stuff, their taste in music seems good!

I don't think he said "Ronnie", it was "Honnie" and Keith responded to somebody from the audience

This picture is fantastic! Deconstructing and analyzing the performances is all well and good but this must surely warm the heart of even the most jaded fans.

The latter. He said something similar at the start of the tour, maybe Zürich.

Yes - in Berlin. He said something like "I'd love to talk to you but I'm busy right now!"

Had seating tickets for this show. It made the whole experience more relaxed for me and made me see the band from a different perspective than before (although I prefer standing tickets) Great show, good setlist (imo - from what we can expect after what they have done the last two years) and seeing the band for the second time at this tour made me wonder why they should stop now. There are some mistakes here and there but thats some of the charm with liveshows. Good energy through the whole show and from what I could see the crowd loved it!

There was some soundissues, but that might just have been the sound at the place we were in the arena.

Some great solos from Ronnie (most of them winking smiley) Mick proves he still is the greatest frontman in rocknroll, Charlie won the audience when showing up in yellow and blue, Lisa did good at Gimme shelter and Keith, well Keith is Keith anno 2014.... smiling smiley

So, how was it? What's your overall impression? Did they play well? Don't mind the setlist - we have already discussed that.

It was unbelievable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Great show,.We were third row in Golden Circle, keef Side. The band laughed a lot, lots of interaction between Keef and Jagger. Incredible MR;GS;TD;YGTS;CBS;HTW.

Wrote a review, dont know when BV will release it.

It was great, and on wednesday we saw the band leave the hotel. That was an amazing event too. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really loved it a lot, lovesd Stockholm and its occupants.
I am a very happy man, Thanks everyone.
