Jeroen -> Not sure if it will be postable but I did some searching...

[www.planetrock.com] Is what appears to be the main site.

[audioboo.fm] Seems to be an archive site for their interviews.

On the Audioboo.fm site linked above a sidebar states:

Planet Rock
58 posts / 210K listens

Catch up on interviews, interact with your favourite artists and Planet Rock presenters, all right here on AudioBoo.

Planet Rock: Where Rock Lives. Listen across the UK on Digital Radio, Digital TV, 105.2 FM in The West Midlands, online at planetrock.com or with our free mobile apps!

You can find us online at the following places:

Planet Rock Website www.planetrock.com

Planet Rock Facebook facebook.com/planetrockradio

Planet Rock Twitter twitter.com/planetrockradio

Planet Rock YouTube youtube.com/planetrockradio

I hope all of this helps you, Jeroen! I also hope that it helps me as, come Sunday, I'll probably start my search from home here!

Peace,
Mr DJA

Did anyone listen to Keith's planetrock.com interview Sunday night?
It will be repeated July 3rd at 8pm.

There is an option to listen to the programme again on planetrock.com, but I always get an error massage for the player! sad smiley Not just for this one stream, but others as well. Can anybody listen to this: My Planet Rocks: Keith Richards?

Yes, maybe. What a pity. I tried a proxy server, but that doesn't work either.

Let It Rock has always struck me as straight, benchmark, core rock and roll.

Nice list, indeed. Would love to hear Keith tackle Boom, Boom, Boom. He could put his Make No Mistake voice to use well for that one.

I wouldn't say it isn't. Arguments could be supported for soul & r&b and I wouldn't disagree with them. At it's core, it's a blues tune. In my mind anyway.

Same with stonesstein's comments about "Let It Rock". I wholeheartedly agree them. BUT, at it's core, for my mind anyway, it's also a blues tune.

Great list Keith! I'm gonna go make a playlist...

Gotta remember when Keith is going to be on the radio... There's a thread about that somewhere, isn't there?

Peace,
Mr DJA

Mick cut a version of Key To The Highway as part of those early "Metamorphosis" sessions.

Agree with most of them, but You Got Me Dizzy sounds just like 90% of all Jimmy Reed compositions.

Eric Clapton had a lot to do with "young people" of the 60's and 70's getting into the blues especially with regard to "Key to the Highway."

Keith was quite brave to do that song with Eric at the Clapton "Crossroads" festival last year.

Why? He has played it a lot himself.

Of course. Jimmy Reed is injected into the original Stones DNA.
