Like a Rolling Stone!

Come on, let's have them do a cover for a change.

I wonder if we'll ever see the songs from the Rome selection again. My bet is no since that vote was the ultimate sham and they never had an intention of anything else winning but Respectable.

Like A Rolling Stone of course!
Bitch has been played badly 2013-14 so I hope no one votes for that song.
Get Off Of My Cloud should not be up for voting, the only reason that song has won the voting so many times is because the 10.000 facebook don't know any other song on the voting list.

You know it WON'T be JMI or LARS...I've always been of the opinion that the "fan vote" is picked by the band!smiling smiley

As always, anything but JMI please - but they do keep pushing it for the fan vote, so I bet the damn thing will turn up one of these nights.

If LARS wins, then I do believe that the webvote is legit. ;-)

I agree it would have been cool with a cover, but please play Imagination!

Imagination, of course.
+1

BUT, I have no illusion. They'll play what they want to play and won't care about fan votes at all.

This stadium looks so big like the Paris stadium, or maybe a little bit bigger?

I don't like the choices very much.

If I could,I would write in "Heartbreaker" with Mick Taylor. This would be a good show for it as it was not played in Spain in 1995 or since then as far as I am aware. Actually,I don't think that it has EVER been played there since they did not have a concert in Spain on the 1973 tour either.

"Like a Rolling Stone" was performed in Spain in 1995 , 1998 , 1999 , + 2003.

The b-stage in Madrid in 2003 actually featured both "Like a Rolling Stone" and "Street Fighting Man" .

I suppose that any of the other four would work. I don't really want to hear another version of "Get Off of My Cloud" but,the people in Spain haven't gotten "Cloud" since 1976 if I am not mistaken.

"Like a Rolling Stone" with Bob Dylan as guest.
That would be great.

I think you've just answered the question of which will be played, LARS. For some reason, who's ever in charge of the fanvote thinks its something to play a certain song in certain cities tour after tour, as opposed to a song that's never been.

With you on Heartbreaker, but its seems since Mick laid an egg vocally on Silver Train that they've kind of given up on introducing rarer uptempo songs with some kick to them. Ballads are ruling the day on this leg.

My vote went to 'Like a Rolling Stone ', and it's just right for the Bernebau for a great singalong. thumbs up

Most likely will be that and Streets of Love, so two good sing-alongs for the crowd.

The novelty of Like A Rolling Stone rubbed off very quickly for me. At this stage of their career, and with the 19 song set, I would rather hear one of their songs.

I voted Street Fighting Man.
That song has to be in more concerts, it's one of their best warhorses and played too little these days.

Looking into it a little further, if Heatbreaker is ever going to be played it's at Werchter this Saturday. Of the few times its been played in the 2000s, two were here in 03 and 07. Plus a famous one in Belgium 1973.

Re: Madrid June 25 song vote

Yeah. I guess that we have to think about it in reverse.

"Angie" in Vienna,Austria /

"Let's Spend the Night Together" in Oslo,Norway /

"Bitch" in Tokyo,Japan /

"No Expectations" in (of all places) San Jose,California (U.S.)

These all immediately spring to mind as repeat offenders without even thinking about it much.

The guy in charge of (as they claim) "looking back at past set lists" should be demoted.
