well, the point is that it's redundant to say you miss being befuddled. one is being fuddled, much like one is being wildered or being witched.

i hope you are gruntled and gusted and not the opposite....

Sometimes I miss being gotten, but since my point was gotten I can enjoy not being missed, which is a whole lot better than if I were misbegotten... or something.

Does anyone remember which show, while playing 'You can't always get what you want' he played a portion of 'Winter.' Only a snippet, but a beautiful solo. Europe '73. I have it, just cannot put my hands on at the moment. It may already be up on this thread. I have not watch all the videos. Thanks.

Empire Pool 73, I think, and Mick went along with it - humming a little passage from Winter. Could be Brussels as well - or both. Might be a gag they did..

DandelionPowderman! Thanks! Narrows down my search. I forgot it was done twice. I am surprised they have as of yet, to play 'Winter.'

Think his live Love In Vain from dallas 1972 from L&G movie is a classic.

Another brilliant solo is SFM that exists on YA YA's which has arguably his quickest quitar work notes-wise (near last verse).

The list goes on...

They're only successful though, after publicly announcing one's retirement from posting.

I cannot think of one lousy Taylor solo. Not one that I have ever heard. I am sure some nights are better than others. I have read that he often becomes bored and his heart may not be in it but his solo's have always sounded brilliant to my ears, even with the wax!

Probably one of the best things he has ever done, what a feeling and sound!
Masters of war is stunning too. Cannot find it on Youtube anymore.

This reminds me when REAL LIVE was released. I found the album lame, but one thing stood out, "Masters of War", and the strong guitar especially on it (I wished the maestro had been more inspired, though). At the time Mick Taylor didn't mean anything extra to me, it was just 'damn, Dylan has a great guitarist!".

Anyway, since then I've heard some hot bootlegs from the tour, even though I have never much warmed to REAL LIVE.

I like Real Live and Bob's performance, in all its weirdness. He gives the word "sheepishly" a new meaning with his singing there smiling smiley
