At one point after the Fiji Incident there was a show where Keith nodded off, or stopped, or froze or something during the start of Happy at one of the European shows on A Bigger Bang... The video used to be available online. Anyone know what gig that was?

Nijmegen in Holland. The second show of the Euro leg, if memory serves.

Sure the beginning of the 2007 tour was rough but the August shows were good. Those who saw the band at the O2 didn't feel they were cheated.

I was at the Nijmegen show, but don't remember Keith nodding off or whatever...

He didn't nod off, but he froze awkwardly during his intro. It took them some time to get it on track again..

It was discussed back in 2007 but the youtube clip seems to be private these days. Anyway, it might not have been his fault.

I apologize if I am dredging up bad memories. They are human beings. I found it to be a very interesting isolated moment. Was curious if a bootleg exists of the entire show as I'd like to hear that gig in its totality. Seeing that one clip out of the context of the whole show is an odd experience.

I love Keith, and its sad when that happens. But I wouldn't be human if I didn't kind of want to see it, even if its not flattering towards him.

Probably just another myth started by someone hoping to help along the bad ass Keith Richards image at the time. Alot of Keith is just fluff afterall and he never really pulled any knives on any french sailors or pulled guns on New York druggie thugs.

LOL! He had brain surgery and started touring way too early. Watching that video wasn't very pleasant, when all we wanted was Keith getting back on track after what he went through.

Same here. I do remember the incredible thunderstorm though and getting absolutely drenched.

I don't know anything about this incident; this is the first I've heard of it.

Reading Limbostone's 2007 post, as he said perhaps it was just Keith trying to hear the beat? This talk of 'freezing' reminds me of the Slipping Away restart in Abu Dhabi:
