And that means he can not sing? First I would strongly argue with the "a lot" part and secondly even with not hitting some hight notes he is still one of the absolutely best pop/rock singers around.
If according to you a singer who doesn't have a voice range he had 40 years ago "can not sing," why don't you mention Mick? Or any other singer really.

I heard somewhere Mick still sings in the same key as when he recorded the songs.
And that is supposed to be a rare feat.
But I don't know if that's true and probably off topic.
About Macca: still a great vocalist, but his televised performanes were a bit off. Saw him the last time about 2 years ago and he was fantastic.
