Lemmy sings the praises of Little Richard as a golden god. In the Lemmy biopic, he refers to Mr. Penniman as the greatest rock 'n' roll singer ever, no one else even close.

He hasn't cut a meaningful record in half a century, but was simply untouchable in his prime. One of the all-time greats by far.

"I heard so much about the audience reaction that I thought there must be some exaggeration. But it was all true. He [Little Richard] drove the whole house into a complete frenzy. There's no single phrase to describe his hold on the audience. I couldn't believe the power of Little Richard onstage. He was amazing. Nobody could beat Little Richard's stage act. He is the originator and my first idol." — Mick Jagger, 1984
