German newspaper says Tour announcement this Friday

But not even a teaser for the announcement yet on AC/DC's social media.

Maybe they do it with a big bang...

Okay, next week?

Must be one of the next several weeks .... currently no other activities on AC/DC's social media than birthday wishes (Stevie, Cliff) and a flashback to the 2015 last tour date.

The holidays is a bad time to announce a tour.

I wish more artists/promoters would figure this out. There have been many tours put on sale the last month, some for big money. It's a Christmas cash grab. I'm much more likely to spend money on presents for my little kid friends than a show. This year I made an exception for the Stones tickets but would've rather had the tickets go on sale after the first of the year. I've passed on everything else.

Here in SE Louisiana Carnival/Mardi Gras is already being promoted in various stores - Christmas has been shoved aside, which started before Halloween!

I hear a new album might be forthcoming. Hoping it’s light years better than Power Up, which for me was the worst Brian era album. I can’t even listen to it. A huge disappointment compared even to Rock Or Bust.

Worst ever for AC/DC OK, your tastes. I prefer this to the Stones' predictable and laughable "best ever" litany.
Merry Christmas.

Power Up poor album.

When did they make a real solid album from start to finish? Never. Overrated all the way through. Every album sounds the same. Weak songs, a riff here and there that is good. That is it, for me though.

Black in Black and Highway to Hell certainly.
Let there be rock and Powerage for some.

They have no bad songs from Back In Black and before. After Back In Black, almost every song was inexplicably poor, with the occasional great one thrown in like Thunderstruck, For Those About To Rock, Sink The Pink, etc. But their first 6 or 7 albums they have no bad songs.

Are those ratings on a five or a ten scale? Nah, really they’re all solid in their own way considering the specific times or lineups.

I’d venture to say all Bon Scott era albums and add Razors Edge. I also loved quite a few on Power Up. And For those about to Rock almost….I think that’s where they ran out of gas a little and Flick of the Switch after it was my least favorite. Kind of floundered a bit to me until Razors Edge. Although still loved some songs even on the weaker albums.

I know. To me the best 1-2 punch in that list were Ballbreaker followed by Stiff Upper Lip. Phil was back and the sound and feel of classic AC/DC was back.

Black Ice was their best album if they cut it down to 40 minutes. They should have cut 5 songs from it.

1. Rock N Roll Train
2. Big Jack
3. Anything Goes
4. War Machine
5. Spoilin For A Fight
6. Wheels
7. Stormy May Day
8. Money Made
9. Rock N Roll Dream
10. Black Ice

Would have made a much more consistent record. Their best top to bottom since Back In Black. Rock N Roll Dream is one of the best songs they ever did IMO.

Okay, I'm going out on a limb here. My good German AC/DC friend/fan gave me this info about next year about a week ago. Surprised nobody yet has talked about it. Here's what he said.

2x München
2x Hannover
2x Dresden
Hockenheim
Nürnberg
Stuttgart
2x Wien
Bratislava
Dublin

Believe me when I say he's the first guy not to believe it. I hope there's even more concerts

I don't know the source. But I do fully believe it.
