Maybe visiting the studio and saying hello to the guys...

Nah, maybe playing on 2-3 tracks, it would be nice.

I could see something along the lines of Stripped where they redid some older songs in a studio/rehearsal situation. I really liked that one for a post-tour album/CD. Of course new would be even better but may take some time.

It would be one element of a best possible world ... but count BW in, too ... and Ian McLagan on piano.

Would be a convention of this website's little darlings. Bring in Mick Hucknall on vocals and we could get the best Stones record in years

The maybe Farewell Album should include all living members of The Rolling Stones.

No Farewell Album, but could imagine an album at the end of 2015 and new world tour 2016 with a few shows all over the year. I think Taylor won't have major parts on the album but would be included.

If that same song featured Wyman on bass and Wood on extended bathroom break I'd buy the album just to get it.

Wish they would just do a simple album with great sound like little baby and the storm

New Album? Yes Please!
With Mich Taylor and Bill Wyman? If it's OK with Darryl and Ronnie, Yes!

Ronnie, of course, but in respect to Darryl I would refer to Bob Dylan who said something of this kind that Darryl turns the sound of the band into somewhat like funk music. Hear "Charlie is my Darling" ... you can hear there how important Bill was for the characteristic sound. Or compare Starf u c k e r e.g. in '75 (LA Friday) to the versions of the Vegas years.

Do one have to play bass to turn the band's sound into funk music now?

NEW TRACK WITH TAYLOR WOULD BE REFRESHING

I am surprised they haven't gone in the studio with Taylor and cut a new track... They might even win a grammy.

Didn't their record contract with Uniperversal expire in 2013?

They did (PMS was just some chords without lyrics or a chorus) - and they didn't win a Grammy..

Well, if Black and Blue had gone on for 30 years, Dylan might've said something about it, but it probably wouldn't have been significantly different than what Keith already had to say about it... smiling smiley

THIS!+++++

Seriously, the world needs more Rolling Stones tracks. I would love it if they were to really take their time and write some stuff they could be very very proud of. Not a rush job like A Bigger Bang, just a solid album of whatever they want to release.
