The camera crews I am talking about here will just shoot small bits for Youtube. That is why I am asking for great ideas for them. Bits like 2-3 minutes, not entire songs or shows. But if you have acccess all areas, then there are lots of great shots to be made. But as we do know better than camera professionals what we do love most, they need some input. Thanks!

Clips of only 2-3 minutes - are they then advertising clips for a 1500 US-$ 'Tongue Pit Package' or a very expensive 'Super Deluxe Box set'?
I thought the Stones are on Tour for us fans ..... confused smiley

If you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might call it 'Chuck Berry & The Rolling Stones'.smiling smiley

We need the video highlights of Chuck Berry songs covered by the Stones on this tour.

I'd love to see:

- footage of the band on days off - rehearsing or sightseeing etc

- Mick during Keith's set

- the last 5 minutes before show time

- the band leaving the stage and heading to their limos ( like they did in the New Jersey voodoo lounge videa)

- soundcheck footage

- any band dinners or parties

Great idea on their YouTube channel.
Don't accept anything less than all expenses paid including beer and tickets cos you were the star (IMO), of the last fans video shown before the gigs. smileys with beer

For me the only interesting stuff would be MUSIC!

- more live footage
- maybe one FULL SONG clip after each show
- rarities
+ rehearsals, pre-show warm-ups, sound-checks

thumbs up

Couldn't give a toss about seeing fans or anything not directly related to the music.

Rehearsals would be great. The Blu-Ray/DVD menu could be Ronnie's list that he draws up at each rehearsal, click on the song and there you have it! Have a go at "Crackin' Up" "100 Years Ago" and "Almost Hear You Sigh"
See you all in the summer!!

I'd love to see rehearsal footage of some of the rarer songs that they toy with but don't play. There's always some songs that don't make it to the set list, some of which they have never or only rarely played live.

As an example, the footage of them playing Slave and How Can I Stop at soundcheck during Licks is fascinating.

Chuck looks through the back catalogue and pitches an idea.

Mick looks at the back cover of 40 Licks and laughs in his face.

Simples.

Some travelogue/video diary stuff of the Stones checking out the more exotic locations would be a nice touch, as long as there was an overall main focus on the music. Of course, clips of the "fan vote" song wherever they play would be most welcome.

I would like to see ore videos of Keith wearing the same organe, white and black pants that he wears in the videos of Hot Stuff and Respectable (I think there is another video but can't remember)

We need him to look a little bit closer at the back cover of 40 Licks ..... Mixed Emotions, Fool to Cry, It's All Over Now, Love is Strong, UnderCover of the Night etc. !!

Maybe he could even take a look @ the back covers of other "Greatest Hits" albums ..... Waiting on a Friend (Jump Back), PLAY WITH FIRE (Hot Rocks), Rip This Joint (Made in the Shade), Hang Fire (Rewind), Time is on My Side (Rolled Gold / Singles Collection), Dance Little Sister (Made in the Shade), HEART of STONE (Big Hits .... High Tide).

These are some hits (12 of them) that they should be focusing on at this point,in my opinion, all things considered.

I agree with this idea 100 % .

If the majority of the people in these crowds at the concerts these days don't know / want / remember album tracks,I am sure that many people from this board do.

Rehearsals would be much more interesting than Honkey Tonk Women Live Part 1,200 .

- Mick Taylor guitar solo of course
More to come...

--Yes, agreed--particularly a shot that shows some fingerings/slide and picking

--Framing Jagger and Richards together during their duet
--2-3 rehearsal minutes (single take, no break) of a song dropped from the setlist
--Jagger's vocal warm up routine
