What facts did you get out of the Press Conference?

God, some of the questions were really silly!

Album: 85% finished
Mick: contemporary but classic Stones, we tried to keep it simple - also the lyrics (what the @#$%&?), sensitive album
Keith: kick some ass (so there are also rockers...)

what have you got?

I didn't manage to get the title of the new album! Maybe they haven't made up their minds on it?
The room for 400 people of the audience ON the stage is something unexpected! I wonder how it'll be...
They'll play three different sized shows in one different city each, in USA; I hope they'll do that also in Europe, because it's a very good idea!
Ronnie looked less goofy than other times...Mick is in a great shape!
...and, hey, I liked the new song! Rock'n Roll by the Stones: much better than "Anybody Seen My Babe", isn't it

"got to be worked on
don't have no bark nor bite..."

No tour title...
No album title...
Album not finished...
Album release date unknown...

Why a press conference, then??? Am I missing something???

I am most interested in how th ne song sounded. What was it like? A continuation of evrthing from Steel Wheels-Licks or did it take a different track?

Now I'm thinking...

One of the courtains had ON STAGE written... Could it be the name for the tour, having in mind what they said about part of the audience being actually ON STAGE??????

Mmmmmmmmm....

Wild got it wrong. Michael Cohl said they won´t play three different shows in ONE city this time, but spread the different shows more - this means some cities will only get an arena or theatre show.

So this time Europe 2006 no three shows in Munich alone, but maybe an arena show in Cologne and a club show in Raesfeld-Erle...lol...

-The only thing people really needed to be informed about is that American Express holders and rscom-membership holders can purchase tix asap. The rest will be of later worries.

-Ticket prices average (?) $105

-The Boring Broadcasting Company was being boring.

-"she wonders: where DID you get those moves?" -"From her mother!"
(did I mishear it? Quite ad rem!)

The Question from the BBC should been calling them on the floor for $400 Tickets.
Keith was pissed off about the subject of money, since that is usually his reaction to criticism. I will be nosebleeding this tour....

That's exactly what I tried to say: they'll play, in general, three different sized shows, in just one city for each size! Anyway, I appreciate the correction, next time I'll try to express more clearly!

- Maybe to perform a energy & rock attitude never seen before from any band except maybe themselves (or not even that - they were electric thundergods).

- Apart from the average ticket price Cohl mentioned a percentage that tix would be higher than last time. Was that 10%? If I remember correctly...

That would be a fact considering all dates I guess.

- Puerto Rico first time

- Usual round up in dates, as expected, regarding US-Europe scheduling. Mentioning of US, Central/South American events, Japan, maybe China, Europe. No mentioning of Australia afaik.

Mick got it wrong. He thinks Nova Scotia is the province Moncton is in. Oh well. I enjoyed watching the PR. The Stones seemed as young as back in the 70s.
