I buy new vinyl every Friday, but I don't know how to post my own pictures of them this way ... something with Photobucket I guess ...

You have any good shops for vinyl in Oslo DP?..

Log in to Photobucket via Facebook, or manually. Upload a picture, and copy the IMG-code and paste it here.

Big Dipper is the best one selling brand new vinyl.

Ringstrøms or Råkk & Rolls are the best ones for used vinyl smiling smiley

I collect vinyl, but I didn't get anything new lately. (Stones-related, that is.) I'm not a completist regarding Stones stuff, so having got it all on vinyl (some of it in pretty bad condition by now, admittedly) I'm not going to buy a lot of it again in remastered format etc. Though I DID make an exception for Exile!

You're like me, presumably smiling smiley

Only I haven't collected singles before. It's fun, but some say it's madness...

I'm not a collector as such, but every now and again I'll pick something up. I'd still like a full collection of Stones' original 60's Decca singles. I'm missing everything post-Satisfaction, sadly. I have all three EP's, though. smiling smiley

Picked up a couple of original Folkways releases recently (have been looking for the Mark Spoelstra for a long time.

The Far East Family Band - Cave Down To the earth LP is a reissue of a very nice Japanese prog release - I can highly recommend this one.

Great to see this Robert Johnson and the 19th Nervous Breakdown I have with the Stones pic on the cover. My latest vinyls are Motörhead-Aftershock, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds-Push The Sky Away, Black Sabbath -13 and Kadavar-Kadavar from Berlin, if you're into BS then check them out.

Nice Dandelion...early Christmas eh?!

I've been focussing on some Blu Ray purchases lately, Planet of the Apes movies 1-5 and the complete Alien series I just got yesterday.

No vinyl on the horizon for the moment, my last was Sweet Summer Sun.

I don't like to wait around for the holidays. I tend to buy things when they're released or when there's a good sale. I took advantage of a Popmarket.com offer the other day and got a bundle of Beggars' Banquet, Let It Bleed and Hot Rocks on 180g clear vinyl. I also got the vinyl of Neil Young at the Cellar Door and the recent VU White Light/White Heat reissue.

Beggars Banquet was a little disconcerting at first because it's the speed corrected version, which plays faster than the pre-2002 editions. I checked the turntable speed with a strobe afterwards, and it was correct.

Got a Finnish single the other day. Have You Seen Your Mother… / Who’s Driving Your Plane. 45-F 12497
For some reason this one has been missing from my collection.

I haven’t listened to The Plane song in a long time so tonight I got the possibility to do it as I always play through all vinyls that I buy, at least once. So, the vinyl on the turntable and then enjoy some Stones……. Heeyyy….what is this????....This ain’t da Stones!! Flipping the single and ….. NO Stones on that side either!
Checking the Matrix numbers, no, this ain’t any Stones matrix number. DRF-37888-T1-1C
Google next and what do I find? Yes, my new single with Stones labels has:
Los Bravos with Black Is Black on A side and Bring A Little Lovin’ on B side!

So a nice surprise, miss pressing with the wrong vinyl and the right label, or the other way around if you like. Nice addition to the collection. The downside is then that Have You Seen Your Mother printed in Finland is still missing from my collection

Great find! Los Bravos is a great spanish group and Black Is Black was a great song with, supposedly, Jimmy Page on guitar.
Best

After a week of hitting shops in Manhattan and Brooklyn, I've come up empty handed. Only looking for Stones material. Kind of bummed.

Bunch of Stones, but nothing beyond your standard LPs and 45s. Came across a bunch of the new RSD vinyl.
