I'll contact her now.

Well... I guess I am late and the pit tic is gone now. I have a ticket for the floor, but at the back. I was asking the ticket office today if it's possible to upgrade for a pit tic, and they were looking into it for a few minutes, but they said that at that moment it's not possible... I'll try tomorrow. If anyone has any info on a possible upgrade, please e-mail me. pekingi.ferenc@gmail.com

I talked to a staff member at the Mercedes-Benz Arean in Shanghai, and when I asked her if it's possible to take a camera into the arena, she right away said that of course' it's possible... I was a bit surprised how confident she sounded. I'm thinking about taking my camera into the Cotai Arena in Macau... Any thoughts on this? I don't wanna run into any problems and not be able to enter the arena...

It is an arena show. They usually take some risks at arena shows.

When I try to access this thread (and only this thread) I get warnings about "problems with the security certificate for this site". Last Post, however, is OK.

Anyone else having this problem?

The reason was that latvianinexile had posted his selfie picture with secure option (address to picture https - changed into http). I changed it so you would not get this message anymore.

The NSA strikes again. No, seriously, I was not aware of that. Inserted the image URL as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Has this and or any of the China shows sold out? Very small venue.

I asked for a ticket at my hotel in Macau today (just to check out, as I do have a ticket already...), and the guy handling tickets in the hotel went online. It was not many offers really, just 2-3 sections high priced at the end of the floor Keith side. The center floor was all gone. The rest was gone too as it seems. It is a small arena of some 10,000 seats only.

Sitting in a hotel room in HK right now the evening before the Macau show, and the "VIP Reserve (Lower) category which is priced at HK$3580 is absolutely wide open, you can by 8 adjacent in a row if you like, and in lots of different rows too. I'm astonished.

The present scenario for Shanghai in four days time looks even more extraordinary, I just posted a screenshot from my laptop of the "smartticket" website on the Shanghai show thread ..........

....... and it's equally strange, or so I would have thought, to see quite this much availability so close to the day of the show ??

O well, whatever ?

I have to say, having spent the last three days walking all over Shanghai, there really is a surprising lack of awareness of the forthcoming show and apparent lack of interest in it. My travelling companion and I have been sticking our noses in here and there and pretty much everywhere, we haven't exactly picked up on any kind of street level awareness that the Stones are in town on Wednesday next week. Not what we were expecting, have to say ....... confused smiley

Got a feeling that the next 3 gigs before Perth are gonna be the old warhorses, maybe in a differant order with a Chinese guest maybe as well.

I hope I'm wrong and we get Silver Train, CYHMK ,Street Fightin' Man,Out of Control and a few other album tracks that I'm sure will be played in Oz and NZ.

The gigs are gonna be great whatever they decide to play or utilise Mick Taylor on.
Have a great time at the gigs everyone. smileys with beer

Thanks - following the concerts on this board is the next best thing to being there - it's great to see how the setlist unfolds (although I think we could all make a good guess on the second half smiling smiley )

I think more materials will be posted after tonight's show than Tokyo.

In Tokyo Dome, any shootings are not allowed.

I will bring my camera(non-professional camera).

I never have any problems in some concerts in Hongkong.

SHOW START & TIME ZONE INFO:

Macau is 7 hours ahead of Central Europe, 8 hours ahead of UK and 13 hours ahead of US East coast. Macau show posters say RS 8pm so I assume the show will start may be 8pm or probably closer to 9pm. Anyway this is the time equivalents for the 8pm mark:

8pm Macau =
1pm Central Europe (CET) =
noon UK =
7am US East Coast (EST) =
4am PST (LA/SF/Calif etc)
