What kind of crazy ass pricing results in prices for seats behind the pit costing 5x pit tickets?!

I believe the VVIP tkts include transportation to and from Hong Kong by plane or high speed boat plus all the regular perks.

for 15,000 it better include Bill Perks

The VVIP seating is mega-expensive given that (if Chinese fans are like fans elsewhere) the VVIPs are going to be standing anyway. And could have bought pit standing tickets for a fraction of the price.

The Venetian is somewhat expensive. I booked a room at the Sheraton across the street for around $130 US.

I have heard that there are no entrance/exit visa stamps into/out of Macau anymore. Can anyone confirm? I have a few pages in the passport but would like to squeeze in another trip after the show. No stamps = no sending my passport back to the UK for an extortionate overpriced renewal.

Also, are free shuttle buses from the Airport/Ferry terminal to the Venetian still running? Very convenient if they are!

Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality. You can easily find out using a search engine!

I'm not asking if I need a visa for Macau (I don't), i'm asking if they still stamp in passports as they were in the process of phasing it out the last time I was there. In Hong Kong you now get a slip of paper on landing which you then have to hand in when departing. The passport does not get any stamp action.

On a side note, it seems that all of the tickets (except $14880 ones of course!) for sale in Macau have now sold out

Question for mandu and anyone else with tickets in hand for Macau - please could you confirm that anyone with a ticket can gain entry to the show on the day without having to show the credit card used to purchase the tickets?

Thanks in advance for your help. I'm just asking because on threads about other shows, there is a suggestion that the credit card might be a condition of entry.

No stamp at Macau immigration since last July. You don't need annoying.
And there are free buses from/to the ferry terminal. I don't know about the airport.

I dont know sorry,I bought my ticket through a ticket place in shenzhen,my wife used her credit card to pay for it.

This question has been asked on the Macau show thread, but not as yet answered. So here goes again ...........

(1) Does anyone know whether one of the conditions of sale for the Macau show is that before entry into the venue - people will be asked for some form of ID, or else perhaps to show the credit card used to purchase the ticket(s) ?

A further question:

(2) To those people that have bought tickets for this show, did Cotai Ticketing (the primary vendor) send tickets out by post, or are they operating on the basis of tickets being collected from the venue and/or designated collection points within Hong Kong & Macau ?

If anyone can provide answers to these specific questions, it would be appreciated.

I am not sure about other tickets, but for the tongue pit ticket I purchased, the email from Cotai Ticketing said that I need to pick up the ticket at certain select box offices at the Venitian or the Sands. ID is required for pickup, but I am not sure about entering the Arena, as I have never been there.

Yes people, we have 58 exciting tickets to choose from, and they all can be had for between £1000 and £7000 each !! WoW, what a bargain !

DTC Travel in Bangkok still have available hotel/concert packages for the Macau gig on March 9th starting from baht 24,000 (GBP 450) per person.
This gives a B category seat and double or twinshare room at Holiday Inn for 2 nights (8 and 9 March).
No singles available. Must be twin sharing or double bed. They also throw in a Macau City tour as part of the deal.

Remember, Cotai Arena only has a 15,000 capacity, so by Stones standards, it will be small. Great !!

I wrote to cotai ticketing , i wanted to know if i could collect my tickets in hk but they told me that it is not possible. Only in Macau . I work in hk 'til 3 pm and i wanted to avoid this problem. Collecting ticket in hk would have saved important time for me

Can anyone recommend whether to fly into Macau (from Tokyo) or instead to fly into Hong Kong and then take the ferry to Macau? With the ferry, would it run back after the show, or is it better to stay at a hotel in Macau.

Angie -I'm no expert. I'm from Boston US and headed to the show. I DO know that the Cotai Water jet schedule for March is not expected until early Feb. (I had written them). My 'opinion' (again - not ever having been) is if you can stay in Macau it might make for a better night - rather than worrying about getting back to HK after the show. Seems like there is a lot happening there at Macau - the Venetian appears to be huge. I'm staying nearby at a Sheraton - quite a bit cheaper than The Venetian, but walking distance.

Not only Cotai pier, there are much more turbojet service between Hongkong and Macau Outer Harbour terminal.

And you can take a free shuttle bus from terminal to Venetian. It runs every 10-15 minutes between 9AM to 23PM.


Cotai/Taipa is newly developed area and very artificial. It is hard to feel atmospheres of china.
If you would like to feel it and hanging around downtown, you should go to peninsula side.

I've never heard of anyone flying into Macau; do they even have flights from Tokyo? The Ferry runs constantly during the day and they even run during the middle of the night. It's easy - They do NOT want to make it difficult for people to get to the casinos. I've never done it, but if you have the courage, the helicopter is the fastest way to Macau from Hong Kong and it apparently quite a spectacular journey.

Air Macau has 3 or 4 flight a week between Tokyo.
Macau airport is less crowded and close to Venetian.

But more than 95% of Japanese visitors will fly to HK and use ferry service.


I will fly from Tokyo to Guangzhou, mainland tho.

Am I still in time for the show if I take the ferry in Hk from 4 to 5 o'clock?
