Absolutely love Luxury. Doesn't surprise me they haven't played it live more frequently, though, since I think most of what makes it great might be hard to duplicate live ie. the vocals by Mick and Keith, the groove in general. Gonna have to go back and listen to those few live versions from '75.

Really, in regards to thew warhorses I believe they could skip, it's only the above 3 mentioned. I know some are probably tired of Start Me Up, but it has that signature riff and, in my opinion, still has the appropriate impact if performed as an opener or encore. I selected Miss You for the obvious reasons and Sympathy due to Keith's poor soloing.

Id say its very unlikely they ditch "You cant always get" now that they have the choir and all.

wishfull thinking . cmon now we all know how mick jagger likes the setlist . this is not gonna change .not now that's for sure . what you might expect to happen is one deep track .like emotional rescue or if you are very lucky you might get cant you hear me knocking with mick taylor in addition to midnight rambler.

Here's a cynic's remark: We're past set list discussions. They can't add anything new to the warhorses and the "new ones" often sound unrehearsed and flat.
So I'm not expecting much more than the usual setlist. That is a safe way to look at it.

all y'all asking for Dandelion and We Love You...c'mon! Be realistic! Have you listened to these recently?! Do it now and be honest, can you really imagine the Stones, not the 25yr old Stones of your childhood memories but the Stones in 2014 playing these? No way. It would sound terrible and be quite awkward. These probably wouldn't have worked live in 69 much less now.

Not that they are bad songs, but not all songs would work live AND these in particualar being from the psychadelic era just woundn't work in the set. 2000 light years is different.
