More expensive than the 13 October show, Nicos. Only 20 guilders that evening, tax included. A bargain!

I was at both shows on that date. My second and third Rolling Stones concerts and my second tour.

Rotterdam was my first RS concert, everybody jumped on these stupid chairs as soon as the Stones started, it was loud and great.

I think it's one of the few times where us Americans should be jealous of Stones European tour. That tour was their absolute peak as a stage act.

That was the 1966 US tour.

That's something to be jealous of missing. The real thing in it's peak year of creativity and style.

I have a friend, 12 at the time, who saw them in '66 at the Indianapolis Fairground Coliseum. She remembers it was very loud.

As Stones' anniversaries go...This is a good one. Not my favorite tour or even performance, but powerful and very impressive indeed. And it has the magnificent TD, my pick for the band's greatest moment on stage.

Hello Marc.

There was a guy at my college. I usually barely knew him or spoke to him. But I saw him queueing at the Forest National, watching the mounted police. He told me he had tickets for the TWO shows. I was amazed. "How can you attend at two Stones show on the SAME day?", I thought.
