I will always love the Beatles, but I will never forgive them for quitting on their fans. I really blame John. They brought much joy to the world until that self serving and self destructive bastard Lennon destroyed it all.

Explain how The Beatles "quit on their fans".

Oh wait.

Nevermind.

I am just glad they went away...
Or was it Macca that ruined it all - I guess it was Macca against the other ones, so why blame Lennon? Explain.

I didn't start this thread. I along with many stones fan appreciated the historical significance of The Beatles in the context of the Stones. And vice versa. So you are the judge of who is a true stones fan? Nice to be in middle school again. And Mr. Savage is fooling no one who has been on this board for a long time, it is mickscary, aka Mr. Done Deal. Not sure how much he really knows about anything.

I don't mind his Stones devotion but his politics are
abysmal. I mean even the name Savage….ugh.

I thought the 5th Beatle was Murray the K.

No, George Martin. John, George, and Paul have all said they didn't really even like Murray the K!

I don't want to enter a political discussion, but your very username is a political
jab every time you post. Any third party can just Google MS hatemonger, or MS racist, and see what he is about.

Mr. Hater would be a fitting name for the real michael savage. His racist, homophobic, hate filled comments are well known. I am not a member of his target rants, I just don't tolerate such hatred. It's disgusting.

Wrong. he is level headed and speaks up because he knows the USA is going down the drain unless things get fixed. Would LOVE to see him as the President

I feel sorry for those people who think you that to love the Rolling Stones you have to hate the Beatles. How narrow minded. I mean I love the Rolling Stones, just not as much as I love The Beatles. Mickscarey or whatever he calls himself these days has some sort of anger management issue.

So then talk to him about it.

Me? I just never "got" the Beatles. Simple as that. Very pop/elevator-like. Incredibly overrated. Why not share the love for that group on their site? My opinion.

Perhaps because some people like to talk about bands other than the Stones with Stones fans?

Seems a simple concept.
