thanks for the blog and good to see you enjoyed the cricket, this summer edgbaston missed out on the Ashes, so no cricket for me so far this year.

Anyway i be thinking of you over the next few weeks sipping a glass of chilled cava when over in Spain.

Chilled cava, huh? You swine, hah-hah! At the risk of hi-jacking this thread temporarily, thanks again for your support mate...really appreciated. Tricky to write much of note before the ride begins (or after, some might say) and it is now that the familiar nerves start...no backing out, hah-hah!

The Ashes were great to attend and a real thrill for this saddo to say hello to Merv...nice chap, nowadays at least!

Some might think it odd that Woodie would be showing up at a premiere involving this group Odd Direction, however members of OD were in fact hanging out backstage at a Stones concert in the U.S. (Washington, DC).



Note the hilarious typo in the third paragraph of the Daily Mail article reporting on the story:

It seemed like One Direction have well and truly got in touch with their rock and roll sides.

Harry Styles and Niall Horan couldn't have looked more thrilled as they posed up with Ronnie Wood following the Rolling Stones gig in Washington DC on Monday on the last US date of the current leg of their 50 And Counting Tour.

While Harry wore a checked jacket and shirt over a T-shit with a cream hat, Niall opted for a low-cut white vest top with black shirt over the top.
