Well as for shows I've been to, it would have to be the first Regina show from 2006. Watching them through binoculars. I would give anything to have footage like what I saw. It was incredible. It was like seeing the best footage ever.

like I said my 1st stone show was oct. 81, now u see ur favorite rock band, all over tv, internet twitter, but back then mtv was juast starting,so when u saw them live it was a kick and a half, knowing u were in the same room as jagger and Richards young people don't get the same effect, as older fans got back then

Of the 29 I've seen, there have numerous fantastic ones, a handful of unbelievable ones, but the best? 5th row, Boston Orpheum, Licks Tour. That's tough to beat.

Wasn't at this show but Hampton 81 is by far my favorite. And whats interesting about this show and the 81 tour in general is they didn't play warhorses such as Gimme Shelter, IORR, Midnight Rambler, Paint It Black or Sympathy.. and the average Joe concert goer didn't seem to mind. Just shows how they can put on a great concert without playing the same hits.

Of the ones I was at (49), the best was Wembley Arena 29th August 2003.

Astoria 2003 and Shepherds Bush 1999 were pretty special too.

My favourite stadium show was probably the Anaheim one in November 2002 - even though I was in the last ten rows of the highest nosebleed seats.

I really enjoyed the opening 02 show last November, though. It was great to go to a Stones show not really knowing what was coming next for a change and they played better than I thought they were still capable of.

i didn't see the stones live until 89. i saw the movie "gimme shelter" in a midnight showing in a theater in the early 80s. it blew me away and turned me into a stones fanatic. so my vote is, MSG 1969, even though i wasn't there.

Have to agree with the other post about Hampton 81 being one of my favorite shows, as far as ones I've been to. The Beacon show was probably my favorite but Hartford 2002 was an experience for me, I took my mother to the show, we sat next to the b-stage and Mick gave me a high five. Then they closed the show with a smoking version of Midnight Rambler/Jumpin Jack Flash. Only downer was that horrible cover of Love Train..

I've been to 42 shows. New York, Boston, Hartford, Las Vegas. But every show I've been to in Philly 89,94,97,02,05 and 2013 seemed special!

That's sad if your favorite show was your first--that means you know you can never top it. Kind of anticlimactic.

My favorite Stones show will always be the next one I'll be going to. Looking forward to something I really enjoy is one of my favorite things in life.

Oakland 99 was the best performance I have seen but maybe London O2 last year was the most exciting.

Mine was my first, L.A. Forum '69 late show. I was eleven. It made/wrecked my life. I'm not at all sad that nothing since could top it. I've had a lot of great experiences at concerts by many people since. Different. But never better.

Best show I saw was my first at MSG 75.

If I could go back in time and see one show it would be 1969 MSG.

MSG, 1/14/98, the first of the three night stand.

The show was good from the get-go but something happened during "Out Of Control" that still gives me goosebumps 15 years later. I swear to God, they were levitating. Mick was going absolutely bananas - I think it was the only time I ever really saw him lose all self-possession onstage. But they hit a groove during "OOC" that they never lost - even when Ronnie's guitar crapped out on the b-stage - they didn't miss a beat and winged "Rooster" instead. The warhorses were incredible - especially "JJF". It was just delirious. I've seen them 15 times since - including the next night - and they've never come close to this that I've witnessed.
