Keith Richards / Queens Of The Stone Age

Hi!

I bought the new QOTSA record "Lullabies To Paralyze" yesterday (great album, by the way).

To my surprise, the booklet says that Keith Richards did some of the illustrations.

Does anyone of you know how this collaboration originated?

Could be another Keith Richards?

Keith did the illustrations for his own "Wingless Angels" record. I don't recall any other album artwork from him.

I highly doubt it's our hero. If it is HE should be doing the gallery showings not Ronnie because this is good stuff. There are actually two illustrators listed on the package. One seems to be doing collage sort of things with 100 year old, trademark free, pen and ink art and the other is doing mixed media photo illustration. Both seem to be rendered on computors. There is a single modest sketch of a tall long haired woman holding a butchers knife that appears out of place with the rest. Perhaps Keith did it.
