But nobody's really from Nashville...everybody moved there.
Brad Paisley would be fun though...

There are two Nashville artists that are free...Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. But Brad is actually in Toronto this Friday...

Hopefully if it's some country hick, they play on Dead Flowers.

Let the bashing begin.

I'm a sucker for poppy country...so I would like to hear this.

Sad, sad, sad...but then again I said the same thing about Kate Perry and was pleasantly surprised.

Don't fret people, it can't get any worse than Gwen Stefani.

On a darker note, does this mean Mick Taylor will be demoted back to 2 songs?

GRRRR.

Oh dear...well, I'll reserve judgement until I've seen/heard the results. COuld work if she's given Dead Flowers, Faraway Eyes and at a push Wild Horses. But hopefully they will leave these dreadful guests back at that side of the Atlantic.

Dead Flowers would be great with her.

Yes it would...but I'm glad there is a special guest for show 1....might mean there's no guest for show 2 if the LA pattern holds...I hope it's a pleasant surprise whatever she does...

One guest girlie singer has nothing to do with Taylor. It's when they announce guitar slingers that I get pissed... Under-Wood, I guess Ronnie's gonna be on top.

God, first 'blues singer' Katy Perry (cough) now Carrie UnDErpants. I fear Bieber can't be far away.

I agree.

Hope she will sing Wild Horses or Loving Cup.

Stop the comparisons with Justin Bieber. She's just a marketing tool.

Underwood and Perry are not really my thing either, but they don't release throwaway songs. It's actually pretty good crafted popmusic.
While I can't even name one Bieber song...it's all about the image with her.

American Idol singer. Maybe the best of them... No one will really care. Guarantee Keith and Charlie have no idea who she is.

She'd do great on Wild Horses...as long as its not a duet with Mick.
She's got powerhouse vocals...

She is insanely hot, but I don't know how she'll do with The Stones. Mick's probably going to be trying to hook up after the show.

you're not paying attention to how this tour is evolving. based on the most recent guest appearance i think it's clear we can expect carrie underwood to add some prodigious guitar work to sway and can't you hear me knocking. gonna be awesome.

I have no problem with the guests. I don't really listen to any of them but It's kinda like they are paying their respects at the alter of the rock gods.
