Joan Collins’ dig at ‘rude’ Rolling Stones
Posted by: reg thorpe ()
Date: May 24, 2013 17:09

SCREEN legend Joan Collins has hit out at The Rolling Stones — for wrecking British society.

The Dynasty star said the wild antics of pop stars in the 1960s and ’70s had led to a general loss of good manners.

She said: “It was just accepted that you had to be rude and not really care about anybody except yourself.

“I think a lot of it had to do with the Beatles’ and Stones’ rock star lifestyle.”

Joan, who celebrated her 80th birthday this week, also said today’s parents are not strict enough.

The mum of three said of her own parenting: “I’m terrifying. You don’t want to be around me.”

Joan has led the model life as an adulterous marriage ruining predator in many different roles...she should embrace the Stones as the soundtrack to her wretched ways...

Joan dear, love you as I do ....... WHAT a ridiculous comment. In their time, anything from demented trade unionists, incompetent politicians, self serving bankers, a raft of misguided policy decisions, absurd pieces of legislation ......... and about a thousand and one other phenomena have collectively "wrecked" British society, the Rolling Stones have had precisely f**k all to do with it.

Really !!

[ I want to shout, but I can hardly speak ]

Yeah - is that the Joan Collins who will be remembered for her incredible thespian qualities and fantastic collection of Oscar awards. If she had any talent she'd still be making movies or appalling soap operas.

Little did she know that the price for "wrecking British society" is a knighthood. If she ever meets Sir Michael she should remember to call him Sir!

Let's not forget the seedy masterpieces "The Stud" and "The Bitch".

"Wild antics"?

She's having a laugh.

Never forget, The Rolling Stones gave us telephones, television, the internet, the Saturn V rocket and peace in our time.

I think they deserved to let their hair down grow now and again.

I'm quite sure that no one here gives a rats' ass what this washed up " star" thinks about the Rolling Stones...funny, she lumps the Beatles in there....I thought parents felt the Beatles were the opposite of the Stones? Until John made the statement about being more popular than Jesus, the Beatles were the little darlings of kids and parents!

Take it easy on Joan - she's kept the hair dye industry in business.

Collins married her third husband Ron Kass, who had been the president of Apple Records during the reign of the Beatles
